Well designed, sturdy, and supportive. Best tips I've ever owned.
I use my crutches everyday, and have done so for 30 years. I'd like to think I've used a lot of them in my life, and for a while, like a lot of crutch users, I got fed up with constantly replacing the tips on my crutches every two months. These tips just might be the best I've used to date.Whoever invented these things was a certifiable genius, and must use crutches themselves. Right off the bat, the first thing you'll notice is that they're heavy. Think hockey puck, you get the idea. The material also reminds me of a hockey puck, almost like some kind of vulcanized rubber material. There's absolutely nothing flimsy or soft about these at all.Installation was not easy, but it was manageable. I used a small amount of petrolium jelly to lubricate the inside of the pad, as well as the crutch itself. They went on a bit easier. I imagine I'll have to probably cut them off when they do finally need replaced. Now that they're on, my weight has helped them to set in and they're not going anywhere. You will notice that these tips do increase the height of your crutches once installed, so you may need to lower them a bit to compensate for this. They work like a dream. I'd describe them as four wheel drive for your crutches, with some nice grips that work well on uneven terrain. We have a gravel driveway and these just dig in to the rocks with zero problems. They also articulate a bit, keeping the base of them on the ground as you ambulate your weight from front to back. Works just as well on grassy yards. These provide a very steady base you can move on with confidence. The additional weight might take a little getting used to, but after a few days, I don't even notice it.Obviously these cost substantially more than your basic crutch tips, but as soon as you get them in your hands, you'll know where that money went. For someone who's going to be on crutches temporarily (a few weeks), the cost of these may not be justified. However, if you will be on your crutches for an extended period of time, or you're like me and will have them for the rest of your life, these are an outstanding investment. Especially if you're sick and tired of slicing open crutch tips on a regular basis.Should I have any problems with these in the future, I will update my review accordingly, but as of now, these are the best, most well designed tips I've ever owned and I would not hesitate to buy them again. Absolutely worth the expense.

Heavy Duty
These are heavy duty tips!I purchased them for outside access after being awarded light weight bearing status..These tips are formidable. They weigh more & are larger than a standard tip. Very stable & have excellent traction.I suspect these might not be suitable for frail, older folks as they have a wide base and can catch on rugs & such. They are however, very suitable for people who need stability & a wider footprint in the outdoors i.e gravel paths, garden areas, etc. Not inexpensive, but worth it for the piece of mind.Note: The description includes 2 tips. I received only one tip with my order.

Very Solid and Stable Tip!
These tips are amazing and the best in the business.I am a heavy guy(300lbs.) and I use a cane for balance more than anything else and I put a lot of weight on my cane at times. These tips along with the Ergocap Ultra Light tips are the best in the business. A lot of thought has gone into the design of these tips and it shows. I have been using the ultralight version on my Ergocane and I decided try the High Performsnce Tip, it took a bit of getting used to because of the difference in weight between the High Performance version and the Ultra Light, the High Performance tip is much heavier than the Ultra Light but I find that the High Performance tip gives me just a little more stability and with my weight it feels just a little more sturdy. I still like the Ultra Light Tip and have it on my other Ergocane but I like the High Orrfirmance tip just a little more because of it’s bulk. The High Performance tip is a real solid tip and as I said it takes a little getting used to because of the weight but within a day I was used to it and what a difference it makes in stability. I really feel stable using this tip and it allows me to really lean on my cane when nessessary.I highly recommend this tip!-FS🇺🇸

I generally like these - good traction
I generally like these - good traction, nice walking action - however, the four "toes" that extend out from center constantly get stuck under doors (e.g. holding a door open for yourself or others, crutch will be stuck and hard to extract). These could be improved by making the "toes" curl/extend upward a cm or so to prevent them slipping under doors. They were a very tight fit on Medline crutches, but I got them on there.

COMFORT, STABILITY, PIVOTING MOTION. WORTH BUYING!
My father has recently needed to use crutches and these where a fantastic purchase. They increase stability and comfort. They actually rotate as you pivot with the crutch. This company makes a crutch and these are the same tips they use on there expensive model. They are pricey, I agree; however knowing that they increase stability, pivot as you walk and make walking easier it’s well worth it. It took him about one day to get used to them and he absolutely loves them. They add a little height so you might have to adjust your crutch size one notch. These are well worth the money for yourself or loved ones.

Best crutch tips I have found
Best crutch tips I have found! As a very active 200-pound woman living in a remote location, I do not have the luxury of being sedentary while healing from ankle injuries (second go around in two years). I blow through "normal" crutch tips in a matter of days; one pair I found was promoted as heavy duty but only lasted a week. These Ergocaps have lasted me almost a month! That's a month of long, fast crutch walks over gravel roads and rough trails with multiple dogs attached to my waist. I have noticed that they don't do as well on ice, tending to lost their traction ability, and if they are wet and come down on tile they can slip out. But as long as I was careful, they did beautifully! Other reviews state that they can get caught under doors; I only had that happen once, so it really wasn't a concern. Only crutch tip I have ever found to last. I highly recommend them, even with the higher price tag. I spent double their cost on a series regular crutch tips that only lasted a few days before ordering these.

What great life span you get out of these tips
Hey I've been using only these for years now, apparently they cannot handle a cable pulling across the neck of the tip. I've lost two tips due to my dogs being too rambunctious.

Makes crutches much more stable.
Love these! Made using crutches so much more stable. These tips are also much more durable than the tips the crutches came with. 2 days and the original tips already had considerable wear. After 8 weeks, the wear on these tips was negligible. Would definitely recommend.
