Study Guide
When thumbing through the Study Guide, I found it difficult to believe that some of the questions were actually on any state's tests for a contractors license. I would not recommend this book to study for a contractor's license as the material is not what I experienced when I applied and received a B-1 General Contractors License in California many years ago.

A book is a book, but this is not what I had expected!!

Nonsensical.
I have a lot to say about this book, but I will only say a little. There appears to have been no editing process whatsoever in the creation of this so-called study guide. There are countless typographical errors, excessive repetition, and numerous contradictions. The amount of errors negates any attempts to provide information. Aside from this, the information they chose to quiz on has absolutely no context and uses such hyper-specific jargon as to make it utterly incomprehensible. The one redeeming quality of this guide is its comedic value. When the writers weren't picking the most useless information in the IBC code book, they were 'spicing up' their multiple choice answers to add a little fun. I think my favorite answer was to a question about terminology for combustible airborne solids: a) Pixie Dust. There are far better study books out there. Don't buy this one.
