A chair with a great core/back, and decent extras. Around what I would expect at this price point, no more or less.
I have a very mixed set of feelings on this product, and I'm not sure if it is because of Haworth's design or damage done to my chair - so take any criticisms in this review with a grain of salt. I mainly purchased it because my workplace uses them and I wanted consistency in my home and work environments. - I don't feel like I'm that poor at figuring out chairs, but it really would have been nice to have a manual included with the product for construction and operation. Maybe it isn't Rocket Surgery™, but it certainly isn't a simple chair and I would like to get the most out of multi-hundred dollar office furniture. For example - I almost threw out the two bolts for the back on accident due to the way Amazon fulfillment packages the product (taped to the inside corner of the large box it comes half-assembled in), but that wouldn't have been an issue if I had a manual to tell me that those bolts even existed in the first place. - The chair's 4D arms are fantastic, but far too easy to move. I don't know if there is SUPPOSED to be a locking mechanism for the front/back movement of the arm pads, but I haven't found them yet; if there isn't a build quality issue, there is definitely a user experience design failure here (or I'm just dumb). - The lumbar support is great, but you can definitely actively feel it through the mesh of the chair. I am pretty sensitive to touch, so this may be specific to me, but I definitely found it uncomfortable. It seems this is improving with regular usage, however, so it may just need to be broken in. - I love options, but the levers and such attached to this chair are not labelled with iconography well. I had to look up what some of these do because I had no idea - especially important at this price point because I feel that the type of consumer for this chair is the same type who is upgrading from primitive torture devices... I mean, regular office furniture. - On a positive note, the mesh back of the chair is surprisingly comfy. Soft enough to sit on all day, but thin and porous enough that you don't overheat when sitting next to your supercomputer with an array of1080 Ti GPUs mining bitcoins at home (or, you know, gaming desktop - same thing). With those points being laid on the table, I have to say that I can't call the chair *bad* in good conscious. For the price, it is one of the best options you have before you start getting into the higher-end Herman-Miller Aeron/Steelcase Leap/etc territory. If you don't need the extras like the 4D arms, you can find it even cheaper directly from Haworth's site, making it an excellent bargain. If you are on the fence and looking for a $300-400 option, the investment is well worth the health benefits over time (you definitely will feel better with good lumbar and lower back support).

It is comfortable and sturdy
Initially I thought this chair deserved a full five star rating. It is comfortable and sturdy. However, it is now 22 months after my initial purchase and the pneumatic life on the chair is not working. The chair has sunk down to the lowest position and refuses to raise up. This is not the most comfortable position from which to work. I had a commercial grade of this chair at my office for three years. It was fantastic and was the reason I bought this brand. However, this chair does live up to those standards. I am disappointed.

Very nice looking chair
Very nice looking chair.Comfortable back and bottom.Lumbar support as described. Great feel! The fabric in black shows dirt easily. The arm rests while adjustable dont lock, so if you put presure on then they will slide making it very annoying feature.

Keep shopping...
Junk to be honest...At first was really nice and comfortable until the sliding mechanism broke and will not stay in position causing the seat to slide out away from you creating an uncomfortable seating condition.I would suggest buying something with better quality and from a company with better customer support (both the seller and the manufacturing company).

Great Chair
My husband loves this chair but with one exception, when he slides forward in it, the slide adjustment mechanism does not seem to hold the chair in place. (Hard to explain but it sort of just clicks and isn't stable.)

Absolutely adore this chair.
Haworth makes the best office chairs I've tried in a dozen years of office work. This product is no exception. Very sturdy, very comfortable, very adjustable. Highly recommended.

Very Comfortable for Computer Use
This is a wonderful chair. I have one location where I spend a lot of time using computers which have multiple 4K monitors. This chair supports my back and arms while it keeps me at just the right height to focus on the middle of the 4K monitors. I love this chair.

Totally Adjustable, Well Worth the Money!!!
Almost all of the chairs in this world are super comfortable for me, being 5'2", it's really hard to find a comfortable chair that doesn't feel like it was made for a 6' person. A fully adjustable office chair, while a must for me, often doesn't adjust enough. However, this is a well designed, fully adjustable chair worked like a charm!. For the money, it's an excellent happy-medium between the nicer, high-end chairs and the horrible, cheap low-end chairs. As someone who works at home, I tend to stand more than sit, but when I do sit, I want something that is comfortable and encourages good posture. Given the depth of this chair's adjustability, I suspect it would work beautifully for someone on the other end of the height spectrum. And yes, it's really comfortable.Out of the box, the Lively Task Chair assembled super easily and quickly. It's solid, and with nearly everything adjustable, I was able to configure the chair perfectly to my needs. The armrests, the lumbar support, and of course the height are all adjustable. You can also adjust the tilt to that sweet spot so can lean back in the chair comfortably.I'm super happy I found this chair!!
