Silhouette America Chipboard, 12 by 12-Inch, 25/Pack

Very nice - it's a little thinner than I expected and for full disclosure, I don't use this in a Cameo, I use it in a Cricut Explore Air. I've used it to make my projects pop a little and I've used it in layering with cardstock to make full sized, customized notebook covers. I need to use it on the extra sticky, strong hold mat. When I tried it on a regular sticky mat, and tried to cut three times, it ended up moving and my project did not turn out. I now use it on the extra heavy cardstock setting and cut once with a deep cut blade or twice with a regular blade. I also don't think it dulled my blade much more than a heavy cardstock either, so you don't have to worry about that. I will warn that you should use the little spatula to start picking it up off the extra sticky mat because if you just try to peel it off, the chipboard can start to separate at the layers a little!

Please beware that this product is very thin. It is colored like chipboard but it's thickness is like that of a matchbook cover. It is not rigid. If you hold it by the very edge it will bend down in the way cardstock will do. For my purpose it has been fine and exactly as expected. I wish silouette would rename this as the title is misleading.

As expected, this is definitely not as thick as a typical "chipboard" but I could not get real chipboard to work with my silhouette. My fix for a thicker board was to cut the image out twice and adhere together. I still had to touch up the cut outs a little after going through the silhouette. Easy to use. Follow the presets for chipboard on the machine.

Wished I'd learned about chipboard years ago! I've been making random templates from corrugated cardboard for as long as I can remember, but this will make my life so much easier and more accurate brackets and such. Don't wait as long as I did, order some today!

This arrived quickly, which was great, but when I wanted chipboard for a project, I thought it was going to be thicker. I guess when I read 'chipboard' I thought the thicker kind. This is pretty thin, closer to cardstock. It is a great quality, and it thankfully worked for what I needed it to.

Perfect for cutting with the Silhouette 3 and 4. Layers well for making shaker cards. It’s about the thickness of a cheap cereal box.

You call this chipboard??? OMG I sat here all that time and waited to make the mini album I am working on and when I got this so "called chipboard" I wanted to cry, this is no more than cardstock in an ugly color. Plz change the name and description of this before you really get someone in a bind when they are working on a deadline. J Starkey

I use this product for boxes. I had seen some of the reviews stating that it wasn't thick enough, but I think for my purposes, it is perfectly fine. I have purchased this several times. Very happy with this product.
