1st mannequin ever...
I really like the texture of this mannequin head. All I used is water and conditioner and the texture loosened up and allowed me to detangle it with a wide touth comb. Afterward I sectioned it off and then washed and conditioned it like I would my own head. The curls afterward came out beautifully. I can't wait to learn how to braid with this. The texture is very realistic. The product did have some shedding but it was not massive.

I really liked it. The texture of the hair is good but it sheds quite a bit to be honest. The hair doesn't tangle easily but the stand at the bottom is unnecessarily hard to attach.

Excellent Human Hair Mannequin for Practice
This 100% human hair mannequin exceeded my expectations. The hair has a natural curly/coily texture, and while some shedding is normal on the first wash (as the product mentions), the amount was very minimal—no bald spots or clumps. The hair came untangled and dense, and the curls reverted beautifully after misting with warm water. I sectioned the hair into eight sections (four front, four back), used a separate conditioner for slip, and finger-detangled before using a wide-tooth comb. For washing, I used SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, keeping the hair braided during washing to minimize friction. After detangling and conditioning, I styled the hair into 17 brick-layer plaits to keep it stretched and protected, then covered it with a scarf and bonnet. The mannequin also came with the included clamp, which I paired with a tripod for easy, stable setup. Overall, this mannequin is braid-friendly, easy to work with, and perfect for practicing natural hair techniques when handled properly. Highly recommend!

Or learn how to do their own here, but they want to practice on itMy granddaughters wanted had a mannequin head for Christmas so I bought all of them for Christmas so they can just do hair because they wanted it was great for the value of the money that they asked for and I bought a couple of them. Not as pictured but it'll do
Wasn't as pictured but we will make it work. I feel like it sheds too easily and the hair is definitely not 10 inches. However, it will help my daughter practice styles to learn how to do her own hair.
