The glass broke inside spontaneously

Bought it because I liked the styling, the fact that it keeps liquids hot for a considerable amount of time and that it has a loose tea insert. The glass liner also appealed because it's hygienic and my parents had a glass-lined thermos that lasted decades.This pot was never dropped or abused, and yet somehow the glass liner cracked after a couple of months, thus rendering the whole pot useless. It says 5 years guarantee, but try proving it wasn't you. Quite disappointed.

As a blind person i find making my tea easier from a smaller jug, this has lasted 38 days before exploding sending hot water and glass everywhere, this product should be removed from sale as it is dangerous.

Eigentlich war ich mit meiner Kanne glücklich! Sie ist formschön, die große Öffnung samt Teesieb sind super und insgesamt tut sie, was sie soll. Aaaaaaber: schon beim zweiten Gebrauch ist mir zehn Minuten nach befüllen der Kanne der Glaseinsatz um die Ohren geflogen. Und das buchstäblich! Zum Glück hatte ich gerade den Kopf abgewendet, weil ich nach dem Deckel geangelt habe. Und ja, die Kanne wurde vorgewärmt! Das darf nicht passieren! Abgesehen von der Schweinerei überall hätte ich auch leicht ernsthaft verletzt werden können. Habe die Reste sofort entsorgt und werde mir jetzt eine Edelstahlkanne zulegen!
