I was looking for a solution to neutralize the chlorine and chloramines in my shower water, and this is it. It took just a few minutes to install, and the quality of the removable shower head itself is well worth the price. We replaced a larger, more expensive brand name shower head with this one, and I actually like it more. It comes with the vitamin C granules that you add to the filter (with a 1 year FREE supply), however, this will definitely not last a year in ours. We have to refill it every week, but that's with two adults showering every day pretty much, plus we have hard water. It's still awesome, and we love it so much, we got a second one for the guest room. We'll be giving these as gifts for our kids as well, because they are simply a great product at a great price and they work.We tested the water before we installed it, and the chlorine content was as strong as a pool would need to be sterile. We ran the water through the filter and re-tested, and there was no yellow in the glass when we added the OTO test drops. Highly recommend!

I liked that they included the plumbers tape. Needed it. Did use it. There's a lot of plastic parts here but they fit together well and don't break with normal hand tightening pressure. I've taken it apart to replace the vitamin c in the filter more than once. ( I also took it apart a couple of times just to check how fast the vitamin c was being used up) and not had any problems with leaks when putting it back together. Pretty simple to use pretty simple to figure out. Good product.

Love love love love this. Seriously, way more than I expected to.1. Showering with this is amazing. The water feels so much better. I'm frankly kind of astonished it works (the chemistry makes sense -- Vitamin C takes apart the chlorine and chloramine molecules, and has been used in water quality processing and aquariums etc -- but just surprised that it does seem to work quickly enough to be effective in the shower). And the water feels really good. My skin feels better.2. I've only had it a week, so don't know how long the cartridge will last. I doubt the bottle included will last a year, actually. But the fact that you can refill it yourself with pure Vitamin C crystals -- which are available at any health store and on Amazon -- instead of having to buy wasteful, expensive, prepackaged plastic cartridges, that just become more trash eventually --- this is really impressive. This is a product that considers what's best for the customer, rather than locking you into buying proprietary refills (which you know the business guys love more than anything).3. The showerhead itself is nice too. Works well and looks nice.

Seems decent for the money, only - mine is missing the shower head holder... Pretty important part.

Shower head is great if you shower once a week. Ours is used 3 times a day so year supply of vit c lasted 3 weeks.

I searched and searched for shower head unit that would remove chlorine and other "bad stuff" from water, and i really wanted a detachable shower head unit. Now I didn't go super gung-ho and test the water (which I might later on and I'll update review) but what I CAN say is that it's a great shower head nonetheless and was incredibly easy for my husband to install!Pros:-Nice pressure to water-Multiple settings for spray which all worked well-Super easy to install-Easy to refill cartridge and comes with enough for multiple refills-No leaking after months of use!-Seems to be good quality!-GREAT price pointTruthfully even if it didn't have a huge impact on the water quality I would still keep it as it is a nice detachable shower head!

I waited a few months to write this review. It did not look very sturdy when I assembled it. I really love this shower head. The vitamin c really makes a difference in the chlorine smell. In fact, if I just run the tub first the smell of chlorine is strong. The moment I turn on the shower it goes away! This is a very economical solution for people who are sensitive to chlorine in the shower. It’s been about 4 months and I have only used a quarter of the vitamin c crystals that came with it. Definitely pack them in tight with a tiny bit of water.

I just opened the box it came in, and was pleased with how well all the pieces were packaged. It shows the care that went into the product and not a re-shipped return like what has been happening with more recent vendors. Still need to install and use it, but happy so far. Thought I would include some pictures of it too.
