The difference between "sensitive" and "unscented" detergents is that the sensitive varieties do have a scent, and the formula has been tested and shown to be safe for people with sensitivities. This specific detergent is of the "sensitive" variety and carries the ECARF seal of quality:"Detergents and cleaning products can cause skin irritation in persons with sensitive skin or neurodermatitis. Asthma patients can suffer from irritation of the respiratory passages due to perfumes, fine dust from powdered detergents or spray mist from cleaning products. The ECARF Seal of Quality recognises detergents and cleaning products that are shown to cause no negative reactions, even in sensitive persons with asthma or neurodermatitis."Now this is not to say that every person with allergies will do well with this detergent. There are of course individual triggers, and if you know you can't tolerate any amount of scent without having skin issues/asthma attacks then you are much better off with a completely scent-free detergent. I personally would recommend the offerings from Ecover Zero and Seventh Generation Free&Clear.Back to Persil Megaperls Sensitive. I personally love the Megaperls format because unlike a traditional powder the tiny Megaperls granules do not give off a cloud of dust and are much easier to measure. As mentioned previously, there is definitely a scent (albeit much milder than the other Persil offerings) and a bit of scent remains on the clothes after the dryer. The ingredients have been modified to conform to ECARF standards, however the formula DOES contain zeolites, optical brighteners (OBAs), sodium percarbonate and four enzymes. The liquid version is also mildly scented and contains OBAs and enzymes.The cleaning power of this is quite good. Due to the somewhat limited ingredients list it is not as much of a powerhouse as the original Persil, but it's one of those detergents that can let you get away without pretreating all but the toughest stains. I did feel that it left clothes not as smooth as some of the regular detergents I use.And to clarify - this detergent is meant for HE front loading washers, as this is what is used in Europe. The enzymes need time and high temperatures to do their job, which is not something you get with the shorter cycle times of traditional US top loaders.I have a compact Miele front loader and I use approximately 3 Tbsp of this detergent per load, less than recommended on the package.I'm giving this 4 stars because I feel that a completely scent-free detergent would have been a better offering that would allow more people with acute sensitivities to enjoy a good detergent in convenient megaperls format.

I grew up in Switzerland and Persil was a brand I always saw in the family laundry room , a brand my mother trusted. Many years later and living in the US now , there is only one product on my laundry shelf and this is PERSIL ! It was also the brand recommended for my Miele washing machine. I particularly love the Persil Sensitive for it’s gentle fresh scent and for leaving all my white dazzling white! ! One thing, be aware of the Persil made in US , don’t buy it , it is NOT the same as this one made in Germany ! !

Generell bin ich sehr zufrieden mit Duft (dezent) und Reinigungsleistung. Der Preis ist im Sparabo mit Prime (15% Rabatt bei mindestens fünf Sparabos) sehr gut. Gestern kam dann der Härtetest: Großflächig eingetrockneter Kakao auf hellem Tischläufer....60 statt erlaubte 40 Grad, Vollwaschgang.Und: alles sauber! Ohne zusätzliches Fleckenmittel.Das hat mich überrascht, ich hätte zumindest mit Rändern gerechnet.Bewertungen zu verfassen, kostet einiges an Zeit. Ich investiere diese Zeit aber sehr gern, weil mir die Bewertungen anderer auch immer wieder meine Kaufentscheidungen erleichtern. Unsere Hebamme hat das Waschmittel empfohlen, um bei den Kleinen keine Hautirritationen oder Allergien hervor zu rufen.Ich war anfangs skeptisch, ob das Mittel auch richtig gut sauber wäscht, bei stark verschmutzet Kleidung (kommt bei den Kleinen ja doch auch mal vor, dass die Windel überläuft...). Aber das Sensitive Megalperls Waschmittel von Persil wäscht super und auch Flecken gingen bisher gut raus.Ich wasche sogar keinen Teil meiner Kleidung mit dem Waschmittel, z.B. Still-BH und Co.Das praktische Set von 6x15 Ladungen kann man gut brauchen, die Wäsche geht mit einem Baby nie aus...

Ich hab Neurodermitis und reagiere sehr stark auf die meisten Waschmittel. Mit diesem hier habe ich jetzt das für mich beste gefunden. Der Duft ist angenehm und ich vertrage es sehr gut.Die Megaperls lassen sich gut dosieren, die Tüten leicht öffnen und ggfs. umfüllen.Die einzelnen 6 Pakete kommen sehr kompakt an und lassen sich daher gut stapeln.

Topprodukt. Gut und sparsam zu dosieren. Sehr gute Leistung, sehr angenehmer Duft auf der Wäsche. Trotz dass das Produkt zum Glück keine Duftstoffe enthält, hat die Wäsche einen angenehm frischen Duft, der sich auch hält. Die Wäsche ist ebenfalls angenehm zu tragen danach (erzeugt keinen Juckreiz).Sehr empfehlenswert für Allergie und Neurodermitis

Wir haben uns Persil Megaperls Sensitive gekauft um die Wäsche unseres Kleinen (aktuell 6 Monate) parfümfrei zu waschen.Die Reinigungswirkung ist gut, nur wenn mal aus der Windel etwas daneben ging muss ggf. mit Fleckenspray nachgeholfen werden.Die Hautverträglichkeit ist super, bisher gab es keine roten Stellen oder sonstige Reizungen.
