If I could give 6 stars...
I've bought Biochar from The Natural Charcoal company several times now because it is unparalleled in quality and benefits to our garden. The first time we experimented with using their biochar our Kale crops were 3 x the volume and height of the Kale grown without the biochar added to the soil. There is a visible improvement to the soil structure after a year and we have had more abundant, tastier crops as a result. I love that Natural Charcoal are a small business who are reinvesting in woodland conservation in The Lake District. It may take a few days to arrive but because the benefits to us, the soil, the plants and environment are forever, it is definitely worth the wait. I cannot recommend a company or product more than The Biochar from The Natural Charcoal Company!

Delivery was very quick - the product looks good but only just started using it ..... having watched documentaries where biochar wass recommended I am expecting great things!

All the ingredients for a thriving garden
I add a scoop of this mix every time I plant. When I had a bigger garden I made my own worm compost, a friend made biochar and we always added rock dust. Now I get the best results with a lot less work!

Great product
Excellent product, a little goes along way. Unfortunately the smell of the manure is strong. The shed is rather pungent now

Black Magic!
We have a border in our garden where the plants and shrubs were not really thriving. I dug a bag of this though it and the next year everything was green, lush and healthy. I’m really impressed! I’ve dug some into a different border this year and am looking forward to the results in summer. By the way, to the reviewer who said this smelled pungent because of the manure, it has no smell (or manure) so don’t let that put you off!
