I've heard of at least one seller of purple plates using the eip logo that are not authentic from scottsdale, az. how do i know these are originals?

The manufacturer has just registered UPC codes to help authenticate EIP Purple Plates and Disks due to copycat production of their products. All purple plates and disks from EIP and sold by Namaste Health will have a unique EIP logo with a UPC barcode combination image on either the pink sheets included in the product or on the product packing. We ONLY sell the original, genuine product acquired directly from the manufacturer in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Why is the round disk a much darker color than the plates, which are a bright violet?

As much as we would like to see one consistent color, the anodizer is not always consistent with the color of the dye. That's really what it boils down to. We would like to see a more consistent color too, if possible.
