Kipon Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Canon FD Mount Lens to Canon EOS M Camera

Well made, precision adapter to use Canon FD lenses on EOS-M bodies. Since FD lenses were originally designed for full frame 35mm photography, the focal spot of the lens extends well beyond the edges of smaller sensor in the EOS-M, so shifting the lens the full +-15 marked range does not result in any vignetting, although the light is passing through the edge (and center) of the lens. The adapter rotates 360 degrees so you can shift in either the vertical or horizontal planes (and in twelve 30 degree increments all around). Perfect for archetectural photography without having to use Adobe LightRoom to post process to straighten the keystone effect created if the sensor plane is tilted relative to the scene. Very worthwhile without having to spend over $1000 for the Canon T/S lenses. Works great with FD 24 2.8, 28 2.8, 50 1.4, and many other fine FD lenses. Very satisfied. Recommend at $114 to get the versatility of a view camera in a modern digital camera. No tilt, shift only.
