Very bright light
Dropped it off a ladder the first day I used it. Held up just fine. So far so good.

Bought it for my Husband
Our home is very dark. My husband was always flailing his arms and breaking things on my dresser when he got up at night to use the restroom. I had purchased a few different flashlights for him. He would either lose them or complain that they were not bright enough. We have Ridgid tools, and batteries so I figured I would just cut to the chase and get him one that was definitely bright enough and too big for him to lose. I did not get the one with the battery as we already had 3 or 4 in rotation on the tools we had. The light has worked well for him. No more flailing around and breaking things. I'm calling it a win win. Well worth the cost of the items he was breaking before. BIG plus!! He has not lost it yet!

Lasts a long time on a battery charge
This is great to use as an emergency power-out backup. Recently had one for about 30 hours and my 4AH battery came through just fine with no recharge. My only complaint, if that, is that if you buy at Amazon it is no eligible for the Ridgid lifetime guarantee. Apparently you have to buy it in the store a Home Depot to get that....Other than that this is excellent and I'm glad I bought it.

great everyday light
I have several Rigid Gen5X tools, but these lights are probably the ones I use most. Right now, I have three of them, all parked at specific places around the house, where I can grab one whenever I need a light. The Gen5X tools I use the most are the nut driver tool, the drill, and these led flashlights. Best quality; Well made.

Best flashlight I ever owned. Probably the same with all the decent power tools - dewault, ... I just happen to have a ridgid.
