Stormlight Archive MM Boxed Set I, Books 1-3: The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Oathbringer

I'm on book three. The story is great. The world, Roshar, is an amazing world. The characters are well developed. The only problem is that I'm having to glue these books back together because they are falling apart when I get about 200 pages in and when I have about 200 pages left. These books are inexpensive. I should have spent my money on higher quality books that are well bound.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy these books. STORMS! The characters, themes, and worldbuilding are INSANE! This series is for fans of high fantasy, politics, and i would even go so far as to say superheroes/marvel multiverse type content. I love how unique the story is. It isn’t your run-of-the-mill Tolkien rip off, it’s truly unique and stands on its own. It’s also rich, with super deep lore and a magic system that honestly feels more like science in how it’s described. The books are long, but it’s always SO worth it at the END when everything comes together in the most satisfying way imaginable! I will be rereading these for years!

My teenager son loved his gift. Really good books that kept him reading for days and days The quality of the books is great, easy to read and not too heavy, specially considering how thick they are. The content of the books is great too. He won't stop telling us what happened, so many characters and rich stories. Much much better than the TV series.

LOVE THESE BOOKS. The spines do come undone really easily on these though, because they are so thick. But totally worth it

I am not going to make a book review here, just in short I would say it's a very well written piece of Fantasy, and if you like the genre, definitely should give it a try. Concerning the edition, it's a very think book, but it's still relatively easy to read, it's not to heavy in the hand. I love paperback editions, and this one is fine, the only thing is one should be careful not to open it too wide, because it's glued and usually glued editions fall apart easier. The only thing one should bare in mind is that there are illustrations with handwritten notes inside, which are very hard to read, due to the pixelated print. Other than that, it's a nice piece.

The book content is great! Love the characters and worldbuilding - I'm finding it an easier read than RR Martin - but less fun overall than most of Jordan's works. The PHYSICAL book itself, however, is cheaply made. see photo: Seems like TOR is cheaping out on its binding glue - the front half of the book pages fell out while reading - and the more I read - the more pages I lose - VERY FRUSTRATING! I'm still planning to read them all!

This series is a treasure trove for any fan of epic fantasy. This boxed set is an incredible value, providing hundreds of hours of masterfully crafted storytelling in a beautifully designed package. The worldbuilding is second to none—Roshar is rich, intricate, and full of life, with unique cultures, fascinating magic systems, and unforgettable characters. Each book adds more depth to the overarching story, and Sanderson’s ability to weave together multiple storylines is simply brilliant. The characters, from Kaladin’s journey of resilience to Shallan’s struggle with her past, feel deeply real and relatable. The moral complexity and emotional depth of the series keep you hooked, while the action sequences and plot twists are nothing short of exhilarating. As for the physical product, the quality of the boxed set is excellent. The covers are stunning, and the mass-market paperback size makes these massive books surprisingly portable. Whether you're new to the series or looking to dive into Sanderson’s work, this boxed set is an absolute must-have. Prepare to lose yourself in a story that will leave you in awe and eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive (books 1-3) is nothing short of breathtaking. The sheer depth of world-building, the complex characters, and the way everything unfolds over time make this series one of the best in modern fantasy. Each book builds on the last in a way that feels both epic and personal. The Way of Kings introduces a world so rich and immersive that I felt like I was living in it. Words of Radiance took everything to another level, with incredible character moments and jaw-dropping action. Then Oathbringer came in and shattered expectations, deepening the lore and emotional weight of the story even further. The magic system is classic Sanderson—well thought out, unique, and integral to the story. The character arcs are some of the best I’ve read in fantasy, with moments that genuinely hit hard. I found myself completely invested in Kaladin, Dalinar, and Shallan, and their journeys feel real, earned, and powerful. If you love epic fantasy with deep lore, incredible characters, and an author who knows how to deliver a mind-blowing climax, do yourself a favor and pick up this series. Absolutely phenomenal!
