So far I am just starting to sit down to paint this. The kit comes with lots of acrylic paint color pots, 3 lower quality brushes, one small reference card for the paint colors, a instruction sheet and a table top easel. So it looks like this is more of an adult paint project and not something that would be fun for kids since the areas to apply paint are small to very small. Overall the kit looks to be of high quality minus the brushes that are packaged with it. So you will need to supply your own set of good quality brushes as these dictate how well your painting will look after you complete it. Other than that this looks like a great way to sit by the fire in the afternoons and watch the snow fall. I am giving this five stars at this point since the canvas is nice and tight on the frame and the areas to be colored in are printed well on the canvas and easy to follow. If anything changes I will be back to edit this review.

It’ll keep you busy for hours! It’s so fun to paint. The quality of the canvas is heavy and made of very good quality material. It’s a beautiful picture and it is going to look good in our house when it’s finished. It is allot of value for the money spent. I’m not quite done with it but here’s my picture so far.

I bought this paint-by-number, along with one other, before COVID. I started on this one but became very frustrated, partially because I needed to have my glasses renewed, but also because the spaces are so tiny and the numbers are hard to see. So I put it aside until after my eye doctor’s appointment, but it was cancelled, due to COVID. So, life happens and 4 years go by, but I didn’t forget. Three weeks go, with brand new glasses, I started again. The spaces were still too small and the smallest brush too big, but I stuck with it. If you are a perfectionist, like I am, this may not be for you. I often found that I ran one space over into another or misread a number. But if you are a perfectionist but love a challenge, as I do, then go for it. Keep in mind that as one of the pictures shows, the picture does not stretch around the sides top or bottom of the canvas. Since I did not want to use a frame, I continued the scene around those edges with the leftover paint, and I think I did a pretty good job. I took away one star because the print and the lines were so hard to see. I’m including one picture that shows how things run together, but for some reason, in the photo, the lines are much much darker than they are in person. Also, the paint colors are not very true to the original. The sky has a lot of green when I expected blue, and the water also has too much green. Even though the paints were bought so long ago, the only ones that were too thick were the ones that I had already opened 4 years ago, and a little water fixed that problem. Even so, even the thin smooth paint would dry out on the brush in the time it would take me to magnify things so I could see where to put my next stroke. This particular painting would work out much better on a larger canvas. I did look at the other one that I had purchased along with this one, which isn’t one of the ones listed at this time, and its numbers and lines are much clearer, with bigger spaces to paint. I’m looking forward to it. All in all, I enjoyed this experience, and kudos to the original artist. It’s a great piece of art.

This will be my 3rd painting and I have bought from 3 different companies on Amazon. The first one came with paint that was not the greatest, kept drying out. The second company I used had the same problem with the paint plus I ran out of paint for the background and the numbers were in red and blurred so I had to guess the number . BUT THIS CO. ….. so far the paint is creamy and consistent and glides onto the canvas , no clumping at all. The numbers are very clear to see. This is the first one I have purchased that was already framed and I will go that route from now on. It was delivered fast… 2 days It was delivered un bothered …. No damage I recommend framed that way you do not have creased canvas. I will purchase from this company again all because of the paint and the numbers being clearly printed

The paints are thick & gooey. I had to add drops of water to be able to stir & make useable. Paint colors do not cover the numbers on canvas. Had to paint 2-3 times over each spot to cover. This is my second kit & not happy at all. The first kit I bought 2 years ago & when I finally used it the paints were thick so I added water as suggested & paint did not cover canvas. So I figured it was due to age of kits. I threw it away & decided to buy the second kit which was $10.00 more than 2 years ago. Not worth time & money spent.

I think the larger size may have been easier. This is my first paint by numbers from this particular company and the paint was disappointing. A couple of the colors were completely dried out to the point that they were difficult to fix and I substituted others I had on hand. Some were ok and others just needed some medium added. The numbers were tiny and it took me a long time with reading glasses and a magnifying glass. Some of the colors did not seem accurate and I will likely finish it by adding some changes as it is a little dark and dull. The paint pots had numbers on them that wore off so I had to be very careful to keep the colors well organized as most of the numbers wore off completely. The picture itself is very nice but I can't wait to complete it as it has not been easy to work on. i am about 2/3 of the way through it and I do anticipate it wil loo nic when finished

Love doing these. I must say out of all the ones I have done (20). This set is the best. Great canvas and the paints are full.

I like it very much there is nothing to dislike.
