Cardone 13-4007 New Brake Master Cylinder

Works great on my 2000 Ford F-150 with front disc, rear drums, no cruise control. I did have to swap out the level switch due to a difference in the plug. but still a great price for a new part

Fit my 93 F150 just like the OEM one easy to install only took about 30 minutes to change out.

EDITED: Initially leaked but not because of the unit specifically, an O-ring that didn't seat properly was at fault and had to be replaced (none came in the box - was an Amazon WH deal unsure if they sell with them or not). Was able to replace on truck and didn't need to bench bleed again thankfully, but make sure you Bench bleed before installing on the vehicle. Only needed to bleed rear line, as that was the line with the bad o-ring.Even though less expensive than Chain store brands ( which are more than likely same unit - had the same manufacturing stamp in the same place, but was replaced before I bought the truck, it would be worth it for the lifetime warranty over 12 mo/18K miles that this comes with as well as simplicity in getting a replacement (i.e. bad unit or failed unit under warranty.)If this came with a limited lifetime warranty I would give it 5 stars and with a bleed kit.EDITED: Originally left negative feedback as I thought the unit was defective and do not know if it ships with new O-rings are not.

The quality of this new Master Cylinder is very good and even came with caps and plugs for the purging and installation process. The only issue I had was that the locking tab on the brake failure electrical receptacle did not match the location as the original. I installed it on the truck a year ago and still looks brand new.

I had some issues.I needed to remove a part from the old master cylinder and add it to this new part. Some kind of valve. I wish a brake part wasn't from china.
