Well, let me start by saying I didnt order these for working out! We have a 11 yr old lab with arthitis and jumping up and down off the couch and bed are proving to be more difficult as she gets older. We have wood floors in one area, and carpet in the other. We thought she needed a little "boost" to help her on/off of things and these being 1 inch thick was a big bonus! They do have some give but not a lot so she'll feel stable. So, they arrived just now, I hooked 2 together and then 2 more to make a square. I put it in front of the love seat and she immediately hopped up on it with very little problem! My husband looked at me and said "Worth EVERY penny!!!!"... .Now, I have a LOT more of these and will go place them around the bottom of our bed so she wont have to hit the hard floors when jumping down. These mat pieces are large, 24 inches, and they are textured which is nice for traction! They press together very nicely where you barely see the seam. I'm completely impressed. For our purpose these are PERFECT. And to be honest, they'd be GREAT for yoga, working out, kids area, etc. The shipping was so fast when we got the notification we had a package, I was shocked it was these!! I just ordered them 2 days ago!!! Thanks for a great product that fits our needs perfectly!

I bought 2 of these and put them outdoors, I must say I really love them, they're huge, so easy to connect, nice and cushiony, and feel great when you walk on it! I didn't use them for what they were originally intended to be used for, I used them for an outdoor sort of patio for my feral cat colony that I take care of. I wanted them to have a place that wasn't so cold because I have nothing but cement, and in the winter the cement is freezy cold on their poor little paws, so I came up with this cheap solution, the other hard plastic patio tiles are SOOO expensive and you don't get that many for the size they are, while these are 2'×2', the patio tiles only come in 11 inches or 12 inches, which to me means you're going to pay a whole lot for them, and these did a really great job, plus I love that they stop the rain from advancing into my car port, since I have the complete mat right in front of it. It's rather large to, went all the way across! Today as I write this has been a very blustery rain day. I have swept off the water on it, it dried quickly, and the rain did not go into the carport where I have warm cat houses for them to stay in for the winter. These are SOOOO PERFECT!! I recommend them absolutely, you won't have any regrets!! I'm buying MORE!!! I've sent photos of them put together, as you might notice, on one side is the rubber tiles, on the other side next to the rubber tiles is artificial grass for the cats to play in. I did buy the grass on Amazon too. I'm updatiing my review...today (12/29/18) we got freezing cold weather with snow, not a whole lot because in the desert Southwest it's very unusual, but the low was 28°, and it hasn't gotten warm at all, only 35°. The rubber tiles didn't have any snow on top of it, the artificial grass did. I have a water bowl on the rubber tiles and one on the cement, the one on the cement froze, the one on the rubber tiles did not freeze, nor did the tiles feel cold, I touched them and they only felt cool, but the cement was freezing cold, could explain why the water froze! Great rubber tiles for certain...thought it might help anyone thinking about using them in the same way I did! I am updating my rewiew, since I've added so many more tiles, I've put more pictures of it. One thing else I didn't add...they are easy to clean!

These mats serve their purpose and were good enough for what I needed them for. My parents actually have the same ones in their home gym and have had them for about three years with moderate use, and they’ve held up well. They interlock nicely, were extremely easy to put together and are a fair quality. They are not extremely heavy duty, more like a thicker foam, but they are still durable enough for a typical home gym setup. I also appreciated the size, I got the 96sqft coverage .8 thickness it came with 24 squares. I used all 24 to cover my small home gym area. One thing to be mindful of is if you are installing them in an unfinished basement or a new build. I would recommend making sure the floor has been thoroughly swept and mopped first. The mats are black and tend to hold onto dust, so you will notice footprints easily if dust gets tracked onto them.

I bought the 3/4 inch thick mat. I wanted a little more padding since it was going to cover cement in my garage. All in all this is a solid product. It really does provide a great balance of cushion and durability. As you can see in my pictures I have a power cage set on the mats but there is zero added wobble or instability. I do a ton of floor exercises and it provides a perfect amount of cushion. It's also extremely easy to clean. At this point I have had them for 2 years and they are holding strong. My wife and I each workout about 3-4 times a week so it's definitely seen some ware and tare (not to mention our kids planing down there as well). The mats are easy to clean and are relatively puncture resistant. That said I have a couple of comments to keep in mind. We do have some puncture marks in the mats but they don't seem to have really degraded the integrity of the surface. It is of course in a garage and we use that space for more than just working out, so it has held up really well all things considered. The other commend is some of the joints held better than others. I am not sure if the quality control is 100% from the factory. I posted a picture of what some of the joints look like and that happened fairly early on. The good news with that is they don't seem to get worse over time so it's more of an eye sore than a functional issue; which is why I kept all 5 stars. Overall this is exactly what I wanted and needed for my gym and I am happy with the purchase.

Used this to cover my cold floor in the laundry room. Worked great for what I wanted. I didn’t realize I ordered such large squares, but it worked out perfect.

We had a set which has lasted us for 5 years now. We use them heavily. Will be purchasing this again when we replace them.

I needed an exercise mat that could be configured so that I could do the type of exercising to music that involves moving side to side and backwards and forward. I also wanted a mat that I could store when not in use. Most importantly, I needed a very thick, dense mat that would reduce impact on my knees and feet. This mat filled all check boxes. It assembles very quickly and easily and stores out of sight behind a loveseat in the box it came in. The thickness and density were all that I hoped for, and I have plenty of room to move to my exercise videos. I was concerned this might be the kind of material that never loses its chemical smell, but this mat only had a faint smell when first taken out of the box that dissipated in little time. I highly recommend this exercise mat.

I bought these so I could work out in my garage on the cement floor. I do HIIT workouts and needed something that would give me some cushion, I have suffered from shin splints in the past. I have used these for a while now and I have had no pain in my shins. The tiles lock in really well and there have been no signs of wear after extensive use. This mat has been great and I would highly recommend it. My only small issue is that it tends to slide around a little and I had to put something under it to keep it from sliding on the cement.

These are perfect for putting down in the basement to protect items from damage. Easy to install and clean
