I have used other name brand products for many decades to clean my carpets but once I "stumbled" upon this I put all those aside and waited for this product to arrive as I ran out. This is remarkable and I would recommend it highly. A little pricey but what isn't these days.

I love that this product is safe with no harsh chemical fragrances. However, it's just simply too light for severe odors. It worked well for one stain I caught early, but for an old smell I've had in my carpet it just doesn't make much of a difference. I would like it if the essential oil content was higher. I went over the area that has an odor multiple times, trying different concentrations with little success.Either I need to get professional cleaning or I need a stronger product. I really tried to like this but so far it's not working.

I try to shampoo the carpets in my apartment regularly but the Bissell/Hoover brands had such a strong scent every time I would use them. I also worried about my cats being affected by the scent/chemicals. I love other Biokleen products so I decided to try the carpet shampoo. It has a faint scent in the bottle but I didn't notice any scent while shampooing the carpet. Like other Biokleen products, it is VERY concentrated. The first time I used it (in my Hoover Smartwash), there was a lot of foam in the dirty water tank. The second time I used it, I filled the solution reservoir with half cleaner/half water which worked much better. I might even dilute it a little more next time, so I think this container will last me a long time. The carpet feels soft and looks fresh after drying, with the other brand cleaners sometimes the carpet would feel stiff even with rinsing. I love that it has more natural ingredients and is safe to use with pets.

Delivered with quality. This is a mild carpet shampoo without a strong smell. I use it in my home Bissel machine- a great cleaner. Would recommend!

It’s nice that it is a natural product. My carpets are very old, so perhaps that’s why I didn’t do as well for me. But other than that it smells nice, and it’s nice to know that there’s nothing in it that would harm animals or people. As I said my carpets are old, so I can’t really say that it was the product or not my carpet.

FINALLY I found a carpet cleaner that does not leave a strong chemical smell. I've tried dozens of carpet cleaners and I have to open all the windows because the smell of chemicals is so strong. BioKleen has no offensive smell and it gets the carpets beautifully clean.

If you are chemical and/or Fragrance sensitive this is the carpet shampoo for you.Used it on the ancient rental carpet and area rugs, the murky gross water that came out of them was astounding. Yikes.Best thing was there was zero odor or chemicals so could walk on the damp carpet and breathe without worry. I used a Bissel preheat revolution vacuum type homecleaner and one capful per gallon of hot water was plenty. Added a teaspoon of Oxy powder too.Highly recommend this product and all Biokleen products.
