Amazed. Dazed. Must read series! (Spoilerish)
Whoa!!! Incredible. Amazing. Did i mention incredible? I rarely give a five star review, especially for a series and most especially in this genre but this book, as well as this entire series deserves it and more. That ending was the most perfect ending it could have possibly been. I was worried throughout the third book that the ending would devastate me but instead it wrecked me! But in the best possible way.I fell in love with shy, timid Robin in the first book. She was nothing like the badass heroines I generally enjoy reading about and yet she ended up as the best I have ever read in a series of this genre before. The growth of her character was so realistic and inspiring- i was so frustrated with her at times for her reactions to Zylas and yet, I got it, you know. Even when I was annoyed with her fears, hesitations and such, I still sympathized and understood them. Her character was simply real!.Zylas- oh what can I say? I adored him. I love unapologetic bad boys and he was so much more than that. He was such a complex, curious character. I really appreciated the fact that he was the weaker of his race and yet stronger where It mattered. He was perfectly demonic and yet not at all the monster you'd expect. I have only ever fallen for a handful of other male leads and he has , sadly, knocked Damon clear off the top ledge of my favorites. These two are perfectly written and their love is all raw realness. I wouldn't call it a romance. There is no romance. And i loved that! It didn't need forced sweetness and fake cuteness. Their emotion was deeper and I am so pleased that the author gave them the ending I believe they truly deserved. As a whole, in it's entirety, this series is hands down one of if not my top favorite in its genre and in the top five of my all time favorites. Period. The magick system, the world building, the secondary characters...it was all so well done that it felt as believable as this sort of book could. All too often, you read a paranormal or urban fantasy book that is almost a caricature of the genre or a parody even. It feels false, contrived. Like a cheap magick show where the wires are visible. At this point, it feels as if i am rambling but ugh, I have waited and waited to finish this series and now that I am done, I wish I could unread just to read it again .If you are reading this review before buying the book, I have no idea why you'd hesitate but let me assure you that this one will not disappoint. However...savor it because I inhaled it in one day and now I am reeling. Heartbroken that it is over and yet so so satisfied with it. I am going to buy the authors series about Tori now! I have to know what happens to those guys.

Wow still reeling
Honestly I stayed up late to read this one so sorry if my grammar isn't great. Wow this was everything I wanted and needed for the ending of this series. In Toris finale Annette left no real details to have me anticipate what would happen in this one and I LOVE that. The plot twists were needed, though I am proud to say I guessed one major plot twist...perhaps not in the way it happened but I was so happy to guess it. I think this one gave me way more anxiety because I just didn't know how they would wrap this up, if you are worried rest assured all will be well. And things look great for everyone. I'm attempting to be as vague as possible to let you enjoy, but its definitely a well written well flushed out finale. The character growth is phenomenal and I definitely laughed and cried. Great job Annette!(Also as an afterthought I wanted to add there is a bit more steam in this one than the previous books, just as a warning in case you or someone you know would be uncomfortable with that)

What an epic finale!
If you are reading this book, we have been through a lot with Robin and Zylas. This ending of their story ,while beautiful, is so bittersweet. I loved seeing Robin grow as a character and she certainly flourishes in this book. But the real shining star in this book is Robin and Zylas's relationship. I enjoyed seeing Robin stand up to Amalia in his defense. I liked seeing Robin's fire finally surface.I will say a thank you to Annette Marie for granting us a Zylas POV! I was craving one since the first demonized book and boy, did she deliver. This series prompts a host of feelings and it would be a shame if it were ever passed over. So, make sure to clear out your calendar because once you begin you'll never want to put it down.

Annette Marie has outdone herself in this book! It's tremendous!!!
This is hands down the best book of the series! I didn't just read it, I lived it in full blown brain Technicolor. I couldn't put it down! I could hardly breath though some of the scenes, at times their fear was almost palpable, and the near ending had me in tears. Zylas and Robin have overcome so many challenges and issues during the first three books and they finally figured out how to work with each other as they spin off combined arcana cantrips and demon magic in their battles to save themselves and their guild, and in their effort to destroy the most evily twisted sorcerer in their history. This story is intertwined with characters from the other Guild Codex series and some of the situations are intermingled in a very unique and interesting way. Dangerous situations that are shared between the two sister series have much more detail explaining Zylas and Robin's involvement. I was intrigued from the first paragraph of the first book and the varied roles the characters played, the way the completed each other despite their differences, and the innocent romance that blossomed between them kept me enchanted and involved. This book does have some adult sexual content, but it's not too explicit and easy enough to skip over. If you haven't already read books from Annette Marie, I highly recommend that you do. I've enjoyed her books so much that I've not only purchased them but have read them several times now. And I never tire of them. I can't wait for the new series about the Crystal Druid to come out next fall, and I look forward to more stories about Kit and Lienna.Thank you Annette for sharing your amazing writing talents with the world and for the many many hours of imagination, planning, research, writing, proofreading, and creativity that goes into your books.

Simply Amazing!!!!
What a Beautiful culmination to a Beautiful story!! I’m so happy with how the book ended! It was beyond anything I could’ve imagined or hoped for. Robin and Zylas have been through so much, their journey to finding love and trust in each other real and raw. We’re all like Robin sometimes, hesitant and afraid, but she showed that when you finally take that leap of Faith, it’s well worth the risk of falling. I loved this story (and it’s Sister-Series with Tori and Gang in the Guild Codex: Spellbound) so much! Not only for their action and exciting plot lines, but also for their focus on the emotional journeys of all the characters. The Redemption of Uncle Jack, the Bravery and Courage of Amalia and Ezras Own Journey being some of my favourites. I can’t believe this is the end of the line for both Robin and Tori’s stories but I’m excited with the new angles to be explored in their World through the eyes of Kit Morris in his Adventures in Warped Minds and through the up coming series for our one and only Crystal Druid next year. If you’re considering reading this series or it’s accompanying Series’s in the shared World then I’m telling you right now, they are worth every penny! Start with Spellbound and go from there, you won’t regret picking up the books. Well done Annette Merie! I’ve gotta say, you really had me going there for a second😂😂Amazing as always!P.S if you’re interested in more of her work I REALLY recommend her Red Winter Series that delves into Japanese folklore, It’s an Amazing read!

Heart stopping, action packed excitement.
I don't think any book has had me so close to falling out of my seat, this book had my emotions in overload. I instantly fell in love with Zylas, what an interesting character. The leading female Robin is so well written, shy and timid at the start. Their adventures and near deaths, along with how much they grew and changed over time felt realistic. This has become one of my top favourite series of all the books I've read, if Demons and danger with a bittersweet slowburn romance is your thing. Then this series is definitely one to pick up, it's worth your time.

I'm lost for words!
I finished this book in 5 hours. Now I need to re-read it 10 times over to properly process it and relive everything! That was such a rollercoaster of emotions. Even knowing the outcome for some parts because I read GC: Spellbound first didn't spoil it for me.I'm not going to spoil anything in this review you'll just have to read it and go through the emotional rollercoaster like the rest of us but I promise you won't be disappointed.

Absolute Perfection
These books are hands down my favourite urban fantasy series. Robin and Zylas are just incredible characters and their storyline is so gripping. This finale is everything I wanted and far, far more. I am blown away. I got up at 2am to start it, and have already re-read it today: it is genuinely that epic. I do not want to spoil the emotional experience that is this book - I can only wholeheartedly encourage you to invest in this series, you will not regret it.
