Logitech G-Series Replacement Receiver for G700 Mouse

Ok im one of those rare mac gamers. I love this mouse even for photoshop use because its so precise and confortable. I lost the dongle and got this one, but theres a little problem. The software to set it up just doesn't work with this dongle in mac osx (im using El Capitan). No matter what you do it won't detect it.YOU NEED TO SET IT UP IN WINDOWS. I used parallels to do it and then after that i could use it on mac osx with no issues. Heres the link to the Logitech Control Center for windos that actually works with this usb dongle. I had been told by logitech some time ago this part was no longer available and have been using my mouse corded ever since. I recently searched on amazon and found this listing. It worked well! My only (minimal) complaint as a mac user was I had to find a windows machine to install the software required to re-pair the device. The instructions refer to some mac software that was either not available or that I could not make work as described on the latest OS as of 5/19/19.

Maybe at one point Logitech's software did not support the G700s but it must now. Mine connected instantly after toggling the power switch as instructed. However, I had to reset my computer because the software prevented mouse clicks immediately after connect. Weird. But works!

After using the software to pair it to my mouse it worked great....for about 6 weeks. Now my PC does not even recognize it. I tried other PCs and still not working, and the software does not know that it is plugged in. I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they could not do an exchange but I was able to get a $15 refund. Now it is $21.90, what gives? I am hesitant to purchase another one at that price. (Sad face)

I misplaced the original receiver for my G700s because it is so small. Bought this, downloaded the software to connect everything, and now I'm back to being wireless. Easy-peasy.

This worked with my G700s after I went to the Logitech site and ran LOGITECH CONNECTION UTILITY SOFTWARE. It probably will not work until you do this. They should state this in the product description.Once I ran the software everything was fine.

I bought this because I lost the receiver for my Logitech G700s. The product came in a packet that contains the receiver and a support manual. This product is so out of its support period, but luckily I was still able to find the software to pair it with the mouse. Ran the software, followed the instructions on how to pair the receiver to the mouse, and poof! Works like it's the same receiver that came out of the box! Very happy with this purchase.
