Q: I usually wear 9.5 in men, should I get 9.5 here as well or does the size change ?

I wear size 13 in Keen and 13W in both Clarke and Timberland but have owned 5 different pairs of Rockport Northfield shoes and boots and 12W fits me perfectly.

Q: Are these boots meant to be used in the snow? Do they hold up well?

They are waterproof but no winter lining. I've had mine only since April so I don't know about longterm wear but these are a very solid looking boot. I would think they work well for all seasons, just wear a heavier sock if needed. I don’t know the difference in width. Mine fit very comfortably and the are normal width.

Q: are these boots for flat feet?

I have size13, my feet flattened out ( was a size 12 most of my adult life). I have this pair and another pair of Rockport boots both are so comfortable and supportive. I am wearing the above pair right now, and love them. So comfortable and great in this rain. Warm but not uncomfortable! Great buy!
