Lightweight Rimless Rectangle Reading Glasses For Men and Women - Model - VIS 1

I love these glasses! Until I had cataract surgery, I never needed glasses for close up work or reading. After the surgery, I could see perfectly for distance, but I could no longer read without glasses. I purchased four other pairs before I discovered these. I bought the ones with the clear frames. They are very flexible, but don't bend out of shape. The ear pieces are a silicone rubber, so there is no pressure at all on your ears or head. I am able to watch tv easily with these because they are small enough that I can still work on my sewing and also glance up over them for the tv. Another huge plus for me - I wear these on a chain around my neck, and these are the only ones that the connectors on the chain don't constantly slip off of. I will definitely buy more of these as I need them.

Over the last few years I have bought six of these and the next time I leave a pair on the bed and then roll over them whilst fast asleep I shall purchase more. Of the six, I still have four. These are simply great. They are virtually indestructible when subject to normal wear and tear but clearly can't hold up under the weight of a 200 pound body. That's OK. I wasn't expecting them to do that.I have 2x1.50 magnification for reading and 2x1.75 that I use for shooting video and other close work, and they are well suited to my applications. Nearly weightless, they gently hug your head making them easy to wear for hours on end. The (what I think are) polycarbonate lenses can scratch but won't if you're careful and don't try to clean them with a tissue or paper towel because they are made of wood, after all. The case is a piece of simple brilliance. While I thought that the bendy plastic would rub on the lenses, they don't. the cheaters are held in there resting against the nose piece on one side and the arms on the other. Nicely done.The only complaint I could come up with is that one years-old lost its grip on one of the nose pads which appear to be crimped in place so that they can float. Without a proper crimping tool, I'll probably glue it back in place.With a variety of lens shapes, strengths and frame styles there is likely a pair that will be good for you.

I know that there were a number of complaints on this product and I can see why (actually, I CAN see because I'm wearing them right now). They are the opposite of durable. I have to clean them with great caution as they could easily snap in two.But I bought them BECAUSE they are delicate. When it is necessary to wear reading glasses, it is necessary to wear them constantly. This can cause soreness on the bridge of the nose and alongside as well. I really love these delicate little glasses. I forget I've got them on. And I do not have to constantly push them up.It just depends on your preference. If you are tough on your glasses, get tough glasses.

I really like these reading glasses but they have problems. They are stylish looking. The lenses are visually clear and don't scratch easily. They are low profile so you can look over them for distance vision. I've bought them more than once. The fatal flaw is that the glasses are held together by little tiny nuts and bolts that are forever coming loose. You can tighten them with a tiny screwdriver but before long the little pieces fall out completely. Then it's the trash bin. Note to manufacturer: you need 4 thin little lock washers for each nut and bolt fastener set. Or use rivets.

I've always liked this style of reading glasses. Target used to carry them but for some reason unbeknownst to me stopped. I found these online and ordered a pair. They arrived a few days ago and I'm really happy with my purchase. Where else can you get two higher end reading glasses for under $20? The glasses I used to purchase elsewhere, for significantly more money, were of a lesser quality. These glasses frame my face very nicely as the lenses are smaller in size and don't overwhelm my face. If you're in the market for a pair of readers, give these a try. I think you'll be very pleased with your purchase.UPDATE 08/24/17: Initially I was very pleased with these glasses. However, I thought it was incumbent on me to update my review after a particular incident occurred shortly after taking receipt. I ordered 2 glasses; 1 to keep in my truck and the other at home. The pair I kept at home were fine and I had no issues with those. Unfortunately, the glasses I stored in my truck suffered significant damage to the plastic frame. I believe this occurred due to the heat inside the vehicle. They were stored in a hard shell eyeglass case and never received direct sun. I had no other choice but to dispose of them and purchase a pair of readers with a metal frame. Problem solved.

I really like these, and have a number of pairs, but I have had two issues with these.1) They will stretch and then will easily fall off your face if you lean forward or bend over. When they are new they don't do this. I've had this happen with only two pairs.2) I've had three pairs now crack the lens right where the screw goes into it. Part of the problem is the that they ship with. It is too tight and is causing this to fail at the screw. Once that happens, you will see the crack and instant headache after awhile.I think if they gave you a slightly bigger tube so it didn't compress these so much when you try to get them in I think it would eliminate the one issue. Not sure if that also is causing the temples to stretch as well.

Lovely light glasses (does not press on the nose) and very clear vision from them.

Los lentes están muy bien por el precio, a mi parecer la mica esta un poco pequeña en cuanto a la altura pero voy a ver con el opto metrista si se puede poner otro mas ancho sin afectar el armazón.

Pues ya tengo días usándolos para leer y puedo decir que son muy buenos. Buena calidad en los materiales, son muy livianos, no se notan (los compré transparentes).

Terrific looking eye-glasses that are light weight...you don't even realize you have them on! The tortoise shell frame adds a nice touch of sophistication and the fact that they're rimless makes them appear invisible on your face. Love them!

The distance of focus is very limited compared to other reading glasses I used. Great for reading but not too great for working on your computer. But this is a lighter my other reading glasses.
