The lights are as advertised and I'm very happy with the choice. Cannot comment on the life of the lights yet since they were bought recently. The color temperature is quite accurate based on the description. They are small and elegant looking in the ceiling.Pros: - Look great - Bright light - Easy to install - Good quality

We have bed alcoves in our attic and installed one light in each alcove for a bedtime reading light. They look awesome and work great!

The design of swivel part of the light is very poor and pivots only on one side of the airtight holder. It only to tilt or be angled in one direction (left or right). You have to make sure to place it in a position to be directed to the photos or objects on your wall. I would have preferred that they had the ability to be a 360 turn. Besides that due to poor design of pivoting point, the swivel part does not stay in the place perfectly and you can see uneven gap one you install it without tilting it.

I like these lights my only dislike is that they only seam to tilt or be angled left or right I would have preferred that they had the ability to be a 360 turn so I had to make sure that the electrician placed them in a position to be directed to the photos on my wall. They are of descent quality and look lovely when placed in properly..

Great Light But leads to short

Well it's early days, but I fitted 8 of these units and after a day i have no failures and both the lamp housings and the diminutive drivers seem to run very cold, relative to other LED based 3" and 4" units I've used. I bought the 5W/4000K units. I'm going to order some spares just in case i run into issues down the road, but so far was impressed by the build quality and design. They should be able to reach the pictures nicely thanks to the gimball design. The only quibble i'd mentionis the press-release electrical block which i changed out to caps to make it a bit more robust.

Super shallow and super easy to install, these lights put off a nice warm glow. The best part of installing them was that I was able to place them wherever I wanted in the ceiling because of the shallow depth. To those that are concerned I did not see a UL rating on them, however these are very high-quality and well built lights. They do not fit into a standard junction box, however you can cut a custom hole and install them directly in the ceiling. It literally took five minutes to install them.

I really like these lights because the direction is easily adjustable. I used these over floating shelves on each side of the fireplace and they look great, but one of the drivers went bad and now I don't know how to get a replacement. Another problem I had with these is that they didn't come with a junction box. it would be nice if they came with a little 2 in junction box to make the appropriate connections that I could just stick up in the hole that I drilled

The light is for task lighting (painting, etc) and has the great feature of rotating more than most lights (Rotates >30%) so it can be installed on sloped (e.g. 30deg vaulted ceilings) and still rotate enough to focus on walls / pictures. One important point - this does not come with the electrical box (required by Canadian code) to house the electrical connection (only comes with push in connnector). Hence, the lower rating on installation. Still... if you purchase the normal electrical box and lid.... still a good buy.

Prompt delivery, each light has its own LED driver, brighter than I expected. I might go down a level next time
