Yosoo Ruffler Sewing Machine Presser Foot for All Low Shank,New Home, Feet for Gathering, Pleats and Ruffles

I dreaded gathering the multiple layers of tulle for my granddaughter's tutu. I found this gathering foot and decided to try it. OMG, this foot is amazing! I have 43 yards of tulle to gather and did it all in an hour. I only wish I'd had it when I did Cinderella's gown! When I first started out I broke a needle. When I checked the foot over, I found a small Philips screw that adjusted where the needle hole was. Once I made the adjustment, it worked perfectly.

Doesnt work with my machine

I misplaced my name brand ruffler and purchased this one due to time restraints and my local craft store being closed due to Covid restrictions. It absolutely does not gather even messing with the little adjuster on the side for the depth of the gathers it was no better than using a regular sewing foot. I had to do it the old fashioned way with pulling threads.

I sew every day. Both the low shank and the high shank rufflers made by this company is the best I have seen in literally decades. They work perfectly and make the most beautiful ruffles. I have used both and have gone on my sewing groups and my classes and recommended they purchase these before they are gone. I not only recommend these, I also recommend you get them while you can.

It’s enough if you’re dabbling in pleats. Used it a few times and it’s fine, albeit a bit weird sounding (nails on chalkboard kinda). It gets the job done on the fabrics I tried, but it does feel like it’s struggling a bit. We shall see how it holds up.

Does what it says. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to use and that helped me set it up correctly. I had to go slowly with the pedal.

The Yosoo Ruffler works very well and makes beautiful ruffles, pleats, and gathers. It fits my sewing machine perfectly, and I am very pleased with its functionality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an easy way to sew ruffles, pleats, or gathers.

Just tried this on a cotton fabric. So far it’s inconsistent with feeding the fabric. I’ll try again later but it may get returned. PFAFF creative Icon.

I have a couple of these already, but decided to pick this one up for my Bernina 830. I have an adaptor which allows me to use low shank feet with my Bernina. (High shank machines will also need an adaptor to use this.) The other rufflers I have, go with some other machines and I like to leave those feet where they are so that they do not get separated like so many random sewing parts that show up at Thrift Stores.To use these, you must have a length of fabric on which to sew the fabric to be ruffled. Helps if you hem the fabric to be ruffled first (It will be a royal pain to hem it after!). Test out some of the settings on the ruffler, keeping a set of samples. Make some measurements and keep that data with the samples. Then you will know what to select to get the look you want and you will also have some measurements so you can calculate what you need to cut (or snip and rip if it is a good quality woven).

The instructions were vague to say the least. I strongly urge you to find a you tube instructional on it and then practice, practice, practice!
