These are not drapey shorts but a nice, smooth cottony texture. Actually better than I expected & more what I was looking for. BUT - I didn't get more than 3 steps before my generous thighs sucked the inseam up into my crotch. I hate that!The length is maybe half inch too short for me - a full 5" inseam doesn't get thigh munched.

These fit as expected and are very flattering. The material doesn’t have much give or stretch and is slightly thicker than expected. The shorts still fit great and have a great cut so no complaints here.

A bit too tight in the leg. If your thighs are on the bigger side, order a size higher.

I bought a pie of these in Grey camo and they were soft and lovely. I saw the navy blue in the same soft fabric in the photo. When they arrived they were stiff and obviously not the shorts in the photograph. Since ai was traveling for medical reasons, I am just getting back and seeing these. The return window has already closed, so I am stuck with them. So sad. I love the grey camo ones from this label so much.

Love these but the material is not as free flowing in the picture, was expecting something more breathable. Still very cute tho! 5’4 140 lbs and a small fit perfectly

In some reviews people say the material is soft, others report it is not. I ordered a black pair Xl (I am a size 12.). These are little baggier than I expected and the material is soft but the texture does not flow or drape like a tshirt material would, as it appears they do in the photo. (This draped look is the look I wanted). This Material is thick and feels more like a very thick starched dress shirt would, which means the very wide leg opening holds its round shape and does not lay against your leg as you move. Since I have thinner legs, the wide leg almost looks like it has wire ring holding in its round shape. As I move my hips, the shorts stay stiff and don’t not move with me. Not at all happy about that. If you are more pear shaped, this may not be an issue. They will be a very cozy short to wear around the house so will keep them. I am wondering if the different colors may come in textures (as light and dark denim are always different too). The pics of the lighter colors show a very textured material that has a weave that is allowing the material to drape and flow. I may try ordering a different lighter color just to see. If your looking for for that draped look in the photo, don’t order the black, try a different color thats texture is very visible in the pics. I did wash and dry, not much shrinkage at all(the one time I was hoping there would be lol). They look o.k. Without ironing even though the material is thick but they do wrinkle a lot in front as you sit so ironing wouldn’t matter anyway. Being that I have black, it does not show to bad but if the lighter colors are the same way, it would be very obvious. I gave them a 4 because they are good quality. Just not what I wanted for my body type.

My favorite pair of shorts to walk on the beach. They have good pockets to put shells in. I have two pair now.

Not sure what exactly I was expecting but they just weren’t quite as cute on as pictured.
