SolaLSX48 X PRO Aluminum Box Profile Spirit Level with 3 60% Magnified Vials, 48-Inch

I bought these for a project months ago and was very impressed. However, I waited until I used them extensively before i left a review. Now that i've put them to the test, my opinion remains. Top quality levels.I purchased these over Stabila just because everyone has Stabila and i wanted to try something new. I don't regret my decision one bit. These are every bit equal to Stabila and I actually prefer reading the bubble on the Solas.

I was going back and forth between the X Pro and the Big Red but decided on the X Pro. On the X Pro, the viles are very nice and easy to read but the rest of the design, not so exciting. The body is a thin walled aluminum tube and the ends are hard plastic. On most levels, even cheap ones, the bottom is machined. On the X Pro, it's the same aluminum tube all around. I can't image it being too long before the bottom surface acquired a dent that affected the accuracy. Returned it.

I've been a general contractor and residential remodeler for 20 years. I've used lots of cheaper levels. Stanley, Johnson, Empire. I see the complaints about these being thin and light. Frankly, I see that as an advantage in most situations. No problem for framing, doors and widows, tile, fixtures, cabinets. I don't use them for masonary work but thats about it. Super easy to read. Super accurate. Personally, I REALLY like them.

If you are going to ship a precision tool, use some actual padding in the box so it doesn't just flop around! Seriously wtf.Other than that good product.

I ordered this level because I was intrigued by the vial design; I install vinyl windows and sliding doors in new construction houses, so contract margins demand a certain economy of time in order to earn good pay. I am pleased to say that the 10" level installed five small windows today with landmark speed and accuracy- the magnified vial with the unique stripes was not only easy for me to read at arm's length, but also for my partner on the other side of the glass. We didn't even need to call pins or screw placement back and forth! My next Sola levels will be from the Big Red line, and I look forward to replacing all of my Empire levels in due time.

this level appears to have been well used or abused even though it still had torn packaging in it. i suspect it was a return from someone i would like to meet in a dark alley, where i could fully explain their lack of merit in the world. i haven't decided to keep or return, but i will probably return....

Although this level has an inexpensive look and build, the vials are REALLY easy to read. I don’t know if I would use it if I were a pro; the walls feel like they’d dent easily. But perfect for a handyman!I opted to splurge on a stabile 24”’ which is a size I use more often. That feels way more solid, but at twice the price. If you’re an occasional user like me, the hi-viz vials outweighs the light duty build.

este nivel es muy preciso la gotas es muy luminosa y grande, tal vez mas rígido seria mejor además por el tamaño es bastante practico yo recomendaría también comprar uno mas grande para objetos mas grandes, tal vez uno magnético yo lo recomiendo ampliamente

Es n nivel ligero, exacto y fuerte. La gota se ve muy bien, pero hay modelos de Sola en que la gota tiene una visión aumentada, este es el modelo normal. Tiene magnetos en la base muy fuertes y útiles.

Recomiendo mucho este nivel, es muy fácil de leer, muy practico su tamaño y de muy buena calidad.

Me gustó su estructura y funcionamiento muy bueno.
