My niece and nephews (all under the age of 7) have been borrowing my $200 point and shoot camera when they go on vacations. I've been searching for a camera for them to keep and this little camera is a GREAT find! I bought 2 for each of my 6 year old nephews. Very simple to operate. Menu has bright and colorful animated icons that make cute sounds when selected. Brilliant idea with the lens that rotates up to take selfies (see pictures posted). Camera comes with 2 cases/covers: one clear hard case for underwater (up to 100 feet) pictures, another silicone type case which protects the camera should it fall to the ground. The silicone case/cover's handles make it easier for young children to hold. As these 2 cameras are gifts, I did not remove any wrappings on the camera nor the accessories that were included with the cameras. Camera battery must be charge with USB (included). Camera also has an MP3 player so music can be played. Also, records video with sound. Last picture shows the size of the camera (camera next to a DVD case).

It’s a great camera and all of the extra features are amazing. We’re excited to take it underwater to use. It’s a little smaller than what I expected but it is still fine. The onlyissue I have is that the screen hurts my eyes a little bit my husband says he has no issue. My kids are 3 and 4 and love it. They need a little help but I do think a 6-8 year old will use it freely. The frames are cool and my eldest love the selfie function.

My little niece loves this Showcam. When we went to beach for travelling with family, my little had lots of fun for playing with this cam. It has very good waterproof function, and there is lanyard so my little niece does not worry if cam will be swept away by the waves.

For lots of options on how to use a camera, this is great. However, with my little peanut, she lost all the pieces around the house and yard within a week... even after trying to have her keep it all together in a small box. BUT, it is a great camera and she loves to use it all the time. Also, the lanyard does break apart easily, so please be careful of using that!

Got this for my 4 and 5 year old and they love they can take it anywhere. On the bike in the pool also attached it to their helmet when they are on the scooter. The waterproof case is strong it took a couple of drops so far while by the pool and not even a chip. Great deal.

Very complicated instructions. Very small buttons for adult fingers. Instructions leave out many steps to start up camera

I bought this for my kids. We used them to go to the water park and disney.They barely lasted the day. The necklaces broke first, then the silicone covers.It's almost impossible for the kids to take pictures that aren't blurry, they have to hold still for longer than normal for the photo to process and since they are little ita just not happening.This was a great idea and I even had parents ask me about them while out. Just too bad they weren't durable or useful

El tamaño es pequeño, cabe muy bien en las manos de los pequeños, la hemos mojado y no se ha descompuesto, además de resistir los golpes. La calidad de la imagen no es muy buena pero ellos la emplean y con mucho gusto

Excelente calidad, los accesorios están buenísimos especialmente la cubierta para usar bajo agua. Lo único no tan bueno es la duración de la batería. Pero para ser la primer camara de mi hijo bien.
