I was going to make one but this one is better
I use a gas dryer and in my laundry room I only have one outlet for 120v. my laundry room has a 220 plug for an electric dryer and this allows me to utilize that plug and expand my electrical use in that room. It has breakers and seems well built.

Great device--Get the one with built in breaker
This is exactly as described and lets you avoid an expensive rewiring job to 110. On my second order though, I ordered the one with a built-in breaker. It's a few dollars more and obviates replacing a breaker on the main service panel.

Quick and easy solution when crunched for time!
I had an unused 220v outlet in my garage that I never had use for...until I wanted to put a fridge in my garage, but was running out of 110v outlet space. This converter was the perfect solution!I did a lot of research into these things, and most of the other "cheap" ones only used one (110v) leg of the 220v outlet, which seemed like a waste to me. This one uses BOTH legs, and creates TWO, usable 110v circuits, with each circuit being protected by an internal circuit breaker. I really like that functionality, because I can keep my garage fridge on one circuit, and use the other circuit for other power hungry things (air compressor, power tools, etc.) without having to worry about tripping the internal breaker. This was a quick and easy solution, because I was crunched for time, but I probably could have saved a few bucks if I removed the 220v breaker from the main breaker box, installed two 110v breakers in its place, and added two new 110v outlets on the other end. No regrets though, very happy with this product!

Great adapter!!
Great adapter, allowed me to use my 30amp 240v outlet, in my washroom, and convert it to multiple 120v single phase outlets. Using this adapter to power our new speed Queen washer dryer stack unit. Being the dryer is gas powered, both units are only 120v powered. This allowed us to free up the load on the original power source and use it for a different device, during our remodel. The adapter is very heavy duty, it’s been working wonderful since we hooked it up. No internal circuit breaker trips, just smooth flowing power to our new washer and dryer. This adapter can obviously be used to power man other 120v (110/115) devices from an existing 240v outlet (220).

Serves its purpose as expected
I bought a new house and new laundry equipment for the new house. The laundry room had one duplex 120V outlet and a single four-pole 30-amp outlet for a dryer, as well as a gas connection. I prefer a gas dryer and I got a pedestal washing machine to go under my new large capacity washing machine. This means I have three devices needing a 120V connection. This device allows me to put each on its own dedicated circuit; granted, if the 30-amp circuit were to blow, two devices would trip together but that hasn’t happened nor do I expect it to. It has been about 9-10 months so far. I’m glad I got this, although being such a niche device, it costs more than it should compared to similar sized devices for use in RVs, which are much cheaper due to volume sales.

Fairly expensive, but "appears" to be a good product.
Product is well made, but pretty expensive for a simple device and the only one I could find configured like it is.

We switched out our electric stove for a new gas stove. We only had propane to a log fireplace and not to the kitchen. After buying the stove, requesting the gas people to put in a gas line to the kitchen, cost was adding up. Then found out the electric stove is a 220 and this new gas stove is 120! I’d now need an electrician. Found this converter on Amazon and it works perfectly; saving me more when! Even the gas person was impressed. He asked where I got it so he can let his other customers know.

Perfect Adapter for Kitchen Upgrades
I recently had a brand new 2021 overhead microwave installed in my kitchen where a 1990s convection microwave used to be, and discovered that the only electrical source was an older 220 volt plug. Rather than rip the walls apart and bring in an electrician to rewire for one small appliance at a huge cost, the installer suggested a 220 to 120 adapter cord/plug. Not easy to find locally so back to Amazon I go and found this for around $50, delivered in 2 days. It's perfect! Worked as soon as I plugged everything in and it's compact enough I can camouflage everything in the upper cupboard.

Great adapter idea
What a delightful surprise to know that an adapter that converts 220 volt dryer to an ordinary 120 volt outlet. I don't have a dryer so the electrical outlet for the dryer stays unused. However, with this adapter, I can make use of this outlet and plug ordinary appliances to it. By using this repurposed outlet, it alleviates my ordinary outlets where sometimes when too many appliances are running at once, the breaker jumps. So I'm glad to be able to redistribute the electrical load with the use of this repurposed outlet. What a great and convenient product. The only thing I'm not that satisfied is the length of the orange wire. It's too short to have it on the counter and too long to sit near the outlet. It just hangs no where risking to cause an accident. A plastic clip would help to hold it in place. I made a make-shift clip with tie wraps but not very well done. Other than that, the adapter works very well. I also like that there are 4 outlets. Well done!

Does the job, but sticks out very far
As a result of it sticking out so far from the wall once plugged in, I had to call my gas fitter to come to move the gas line. It's hard to tell from the advertisement photos, but this thing is very large. They COULD have simply made a flat plug with a short extension cable (3-6 inches) which would have allowed it to easily fit around gas fittings, etc.

Really useful for plug in 120v 20+ amp multiple devices, although a bit pricy for an adapter
pros: useful for plug in multiple 120v large amp draw commercial devices (some of which will draw 20A per cord/outlet) from 1st floor or basement dryer outlet, have built-in 24A breakers, product feels sturdy enough for frequent commercial use.cons: a bit pricy for a relatively simple adapter, but other brand adapters cost even more. dryer plug's blade could be made even more durable, item came a bit used in the box.

Great garage solution
My mitre saw was always throwing the 15A arc fault breaker in my garage. Luckily I have an EV charging outlet out there. With this adapter I now have 2 additional 20A circuits and can use all my power tools without hassle. Perfect solution. It’s a bit pricey but a lot cheaper than calling an electrician to wire a new circuit. And it looks like it’s built sturdy enough to survive a nuclear blast.
