Love it, works great, cools the rooms quickly.

Very disappointed in this. I thought Friedrich made quality but this has put me off them. We can’t watch TV and have the AC on. It cools well enough but so loud. Buying a replacement as soon as possible.

The remote has a delay. After you push the on and off, you have to wait to see if it does anything. Sometimes it doesn’t work. The noise level on the low speed is still on the loud side. I have it in my bedroom widow, the old Fredrick AC I replaced this one with was a lot less noisy. It was about 23 years old and had a lot better wind noise level. I thought this new one would be just as good if not better. Apparently they don’t run test to check these things out. Other than this it’s a good unit so far, I’m getting use to the wind noise at night. It does a good job cooling.

Unit arrived slightly damaged from mishandling during shipping seller was fast to offer a replacement- wound up fixing the damage and installed the unit- works well - far more powerful fan than other brands of similar size/btu

You can only hear the forceful blow of air passing through the unit. No buzzing, humming, thumping or vibrating. Wanted this unit years ago but opted for a cheaper unit from another manufacturer. Mistake corrected & so happy!Now, on the hottest days (100+ degrees in NorCal), it's easily too cold! I purchased this air conditioner because I wanted quiet and cool, but got neither. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong with the settings. But two years later it is blowing warm air and I'm certain of this. I see I missed the time I might have gotten help. I am ashamed of myself for not being more proactive. I am a senior and on the hottest days of a New York City summer, I have an air conditioner unit that does not cool at all.

I went with this because Friedrich is a reliable brand. The 12,000 btus are cooling my whole 1000 square foot house. Remote control is easy to use. So loud though. My husband works in construction and he is not taking it out of the wall sending it back, finding a different a/c and then putting that one in the wall. We will turn the volume up on the TV. Bummer. But my house is quite comfortable.
