Review: Thread-o-matic - This is a nifty gadget that helps you thread a needle. I think it would fit most standardized needles. The instructions were clear and I was able to get the needle threaded on my first try. Tip: when you place the thread on the V groove, ensure you have enough slack on both sides, ie ~4-5 inches. I didn’t have to use tweezers or slooooooowwwly do anything. Although, I can see that I would have to be more careful if I had to thread something that was attached to what I was working on. I did have a problem with opening the needle compartment, because there were no instructions. You need to TWIST the dark magnet/cap off. Do I need this? No, I’m in my thirties and my eyes haven’t failed me. And I can usually get the needle on, but it is the limiting factor. And it can be a strain on my eyes to get that needle threaded, so I thought this MIGHT help reduce the negative effects on my eyes sight. I also like the magnet pick up (which you can accomplish with any magnet) and the needle compartment (which you can use pin cushions for), and a cheap 5 cent needle threader usually does the job, BUT I like nifty doo-dads that are all-in-one. I actually found this because I broke my cheap needle threader and I was in the market for a needle holder.
Review: Recommend highly - Love this needle threader. Made very well not cheaply made. I like magnet on bottom and storage for needles inside. Works very well. Much easier for someone who has trouble threading needles on her own. It has button for needle size. This item shipped practically overnight. I recommend this threader highly.

### ⭐ DISAPPOINTED
*by M***. on April 25, 2026*

VERY DISAPPOINTED. EXPECTED BETTER FROM SINGER. I did read reviews and decided to take a chance when I saw the price had dropped. I tried over and over and over to get it to work with NO success. Sometimes one just has to trust the reviews. The concept is great, but if you do not have very small fingers and great young eyes can not grasp the loop of the thread, thus when you pull the needle our the thread is not in the eye.
