Great quality and bright light
This is a fantastic fixture that gives out a surprising amount of light, from both the milk glass and the clear glass at bottom. I'm including a pic of the bottom because I was pleasantly pleased to see that. I couldn't tell from the product picture what exactly the bottom was - kinda looked like plastic, actually. I have it installed over my sink in the kitchen; it's exactly what I wanted for my 1912 American foursquare home - something humble that looks like it could be from the 1930's or 40's. It's been in for several days now and works great and looks great. Definitely recommend.

Let there be light!
I had a really old fixture on my porch. It had an outlet included but It was encased in glass and was very narrow. I decided it was time for something newer and better. This fixture did the trick. The light is clear and bright, which is important to me. I knit, crochet and do felting projects. I also will read my Kindle on the porch. I want a good light out there and I sure got it with this fixture. Also, my favorite part of it is the electric outlet on the side of the fixture. I have an extra refrigerator on the porch and an ice maker. I use both in the summer months. Now it will be so much easier to plug either one in when I need it. I really am happy with this purchase.

Outlet is on the left of the pull chain, not right
There is a variety of pictures both on Amazon and online that misrepresent the relative position of the outlet and the chain. When you look at the product, i.e., face the product after it's installed on a wall, the outlet is on the left of the pull chain. I expected it to be on the right because I have another wall to the left of the light fixture, but I managed to rotate the base in such a way that outlet and the pull chain are both usable.

Socket is on left side
Wasn’t that hard to install but the metal is really weak so watch how tight you screw the screws. I ended up getting washers for extra support. The instructions suck if you can read them but it added extra light where I needed it. The outlet is on the left not the right.
