Great shock for the price! My stock shock was in terrible shape and I'm a 200lb adult riding it so a good show was needed. I was sceptical about this shock being it seems to good to be true. But have no fear, it will handle the weight. I mounted it upside down and and to notch the seat slightly on my xr50. The spring is adjusted to the middle of its distance out of box and it it perfect. Great deal

Maybe I had high expectation for this seeing that all I hear is good things from Piranha performance parts, not that there's anything wrong with the shock absorber. I have the air chamber dialed in at about 200psi and the valve adjusted on the softer side to allow faster rebound. Even with me at 155-ish pounds going off road half the time its bottoming out, granted the stock shock absorber would be bottomed out when I sat on it so theres that. Overall absolutely nothing wrong with it, maybe I would hope for more of a beefier spring, but it works as it should. I want to rate it a 3 seeing that its kind of a pain that I paid upward of 100 bucks on it and its still not exactly what I wanted, but as I said it works, so I guess its just aimed for children around 130 pounds not adults. so reality 3.5 stars
