Saw these and thought they might be a nice addition to my 2003 Mini. So let me go point by point:FIT - they follow the contour of my wheel trim perfectly.INSTALLATION - easy. Took less than a minute for the pair.MATERIAL - eh. You could get the same stuff at the home improvement store for a lot less. I expected something stiffer, more rugged. Speaking of...DURABILITY - not feeling it. This is just flexible black magnetic material.APPEARANCE - just wrong. Shiney, smooth, black doesn't match the heavily textured automotive trim.EFFECTIVENESS - No idea. But come to think of it, I've been driving this car for 7 years and I have no rock chips to that part of my car to date...so how effective could they be?BOTTOM LINE...don't bother.

I picked up a pair of these OEM magnetic stone guards right after purchasing my 2009 Cooper S. These have already saved the metal in front of the rear wheels from rock hits. There is afew down falls of these. First they are magnetic so they might scratch the paint work if installed or removed incorrectly. Second they will be blown off by high pressure water at a touchless car wash.Update: I went to remove these from my MINI and the rubber coating actually melted to the paint. So be careful!!

Tried to install these on an 09 Clubman. No go. Not enough room on the front fender before the doors to allow these to work. Ah well.... Live & Learn...
