Chihuly Fire & Light Hardcover – January 1, 2010

Book is paperback and small. It's spine is fairly brittle because it is old. But I love Chihuly and am very happy to have it. Item arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

This is wonderful book and DVD combo. I just Chihuly's work and have seen it many times in person. He is really remarkable and this DVD shows him at work and his creative process which is remarkable too. The book is beautifully done and it will be read and referred to often. I would recommend this combo to anyone who loves art and the creative process.

In addition to its size (more like a pocket book for tourists) the quality of the binding was so poor, I spent a week re-gluing the broken binding before opening. That said, the photos did justice to Chihuly's work. Unfortunately the scale did not.

If you love Chihuly glass displays and interested in the process of glass blowing, you will love this book and DVD. Dale Chihuly is the best of the best. You can't go wrong with this purchase! Have also given as a gift and the recipient was thrilled!

Chihuly Fire & Light [With DVD] I first watched the program on public television (twice) then purchased on Amazon.com. I was delighted with the fact that a book was included, but disappointed when it came and was so small; only the size of the DVD case! The quality of the DVD (content) more than makes up for the size of the book,and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. I watched it with my son, who is taking art classes in college; it is very inspiring as well as breathtakingly beautiful! EXCELLENT!

I bought this as a gift to my sister-in-law who is big on Dale Chihuly. We snuck a look at it before giving it to her--she loved it. PBS did a great job for a change.
