Tupperware Shape-O Toy

You just can't beat a classic! When I was a child, my mother used to have Tupperware parties out on our back porch in the Spring and Summer. One of the things she ordered was this shape toy. I learned my shapes using toy as a child, and it was so fun to play with it with my younger siblings. I had it in a different color, but it was one of my favorite toys. Now I can enjoy using this one with my daughter to play with and learn her shapes while working on motor skills. Learning is supposed to be fun, right? This toy is very easy to use, just slip the shapes into their respective openings while reciting the names of the shape for the baby until they are able to grasp and manipulate the shapes on their own. My daughter is finally at this stage, and it is so exciting to watch her play with it. The shapes are easy for her little fingers to grab, pick up, and throw. After all the shapes are put away inside, simply pull the handles on the sides apart and shake the toy to free the shapes when you want to start over. This makes a lovely gift and is a must have for every child's toy shelf.

I ordered this for my baby girls birthday. It arrived an hour before her party completely broken. The box it was delivered in was totally intact which tells me it was put in the box broken. I’m super disappointed.

If this is the same as the originals, the recessed sides of the shapes are great for cutting out the shapes from clay or play doh to provide additional stimulus and fun.
