Quality coffee at an afordable price
I use this whole bean coffee in a Brevell espresso machine. Having gone thru the motions of purchasing freshly roasted coffee, I found this to be a great alternative. There is no roast date on the package however when opened seems to be somewhat fresh. Unless on sale at the supermarket, Amazon's prices can't be beat. Previous orders were processed thru Amazon Fresh and arrived the next day before 8 AM however my last order was sourced from a outside vendor and took within a week to be delivered. Please note prices fluctuate with market supply and demand.

Peets, A Reliable and Good Coffee Company
Peets started Berkeley, California back in the 60’s or 70’s. There actually was a Peet, the founder. The original Peets store is still there and the coffee is as good as ever. We have been ordering these large bags of Major Dickenson for years now. We sometimes mix in some Expresso Forte beans and blend them for a really wonderful pot of Peets. We will continue to buy it and enjoy it.

Satisfactory, but not meeting flavor in comparison
UPDATE:Company refunded my money, which was not asked for. So that shows good faith. Maybe it was a bad batch?Was not sure what to expect with such a good price. It was satisfactory.Bag not airsealed upon arrival. No expiry. The bean itself shiny and aromatic. Ground well.The taste however is bitter. Maybe a little over roasted or stale.

Perfect and tasty
Bold and flavorful. Over the years having tried many different brands, this has become one of my top favorites. I know everybody has different tastes in coffee, but at minimum, the beans are always well packed fresh and fragrant. I usually like to grind my own beans and accidentally ordered major Dickinson’s ground. That actually turned out to be fine. The grind size was perfect. I like to transfer coffee directly from package into mason jars and store them in the fridge. That way the last portion used is as fresh as the first.
