今見ても美しい世界
放映時は夜中に流れる美しい音楽と汽車の汽笛とか幻想的な映像しか印象になかったのですが、じっくり見て見ると、すばらしい魂の遍歴の作品です。永遠に求めて止まない魂の元型の象徴としての初美、誰よりも初美のことを知っていて深く愛していると信じている葉月。しかし初美は16歳の誕生日とともに、葉月の知らない世界へと消え去ってしまう。。。何かを得ようとすればそれは何かを失うこと。それでもあきらめるわけには行かない葉月はいろんな世界を旅して行く。世界は一冊の本であり幾多の多重世界という本を図書館で管理するのがもうほとんど形而上的な存在であるイヴとリリス、それは主人公から見たら圧倒的な存在でどうしようもないはず・・・こういった世界観、美しい映像、そして音楽。特にエンディングテーマは愛する人を求めて彷徨う旅人の心をひととき癒すかのようにやさしく奏でられて印象的です。本当に純粋で邪悪なモノの存在しない、それゆえに現実ではないのかもしれないけど、ノスタルジックで優しい夢の世界を具現化していて心を慰められます。そして葉月のジュブナイルとしても見ることができると思います。今やっている同じスタッフで製作された桃華月憚でも本作の登場人物が少しだけ出て来るらしいので楽しみです。

キャラ原案はCARNELIANさん!
萌え絵師として有名なCARNELIANさんのキャラ原案に、キャラデザは西田亜沙子さんなので、非常に美しい少女達が登場します。エロゲーが原作らしいとしか知らなかったけど、絵に惚れて。でも、飛び飛びにしか見てないんですよねー。…あ、あの頃は、自由にアニメが見られない環境だった(^_^;)で、きちんと全話見たくて、去年、中古でBOX買ったのに…(T_T)なんか、最近、BD-BOXラッシュで、この1、2年にAmazonでいろいろ買った私は、もう少し待てば良かった…(ToT)と後悔多しです。…ま、今回のBOXにはブックレットは付かないようなので、中古も無駄にはならなくて良かったです。絵は美しいんですが、なにぶん、原作がエロゲーなので、かなり過激な描写もあります。直接的じゃないんですが、主人公が姉の○○の音を聞くとか、自○行為をするとか(-_-;)CARNELIANさんの絵のファンだから買ってみようか、という方は、エロい描写がある事を承知の上で、ご購入をお決めになってください。綺麗ではあるんですが、やはり、少々、引いてしまう…深夜とは言え、よくテレビで放映できたなーという描写がありますから。話は難解ですが、飛び飛びでも大体、把握できたので、ファンタジックな美少女物が好きな方にお勧めします。
