Amazing soap
This is my favorite soap ever! I love the smell, it last all day, the exfoliating element is great for dead skin! I was a little nervous at first because my skin felt tacky in the shower and I was worried it was going to leave a film, or dry out my skin but it did not! Once dry my skin was so soft and moisturized!

Its Teige Hanley...
Its Teige Hanley so you know it's going to be good. The scent is great and the exfoliation action is pretty good as well. I would love to see it come in a few more scents though.

Nice size bar
They certainly give you a decent size bar of soap. I like a bar of soap that is gonna last a while, and given the size of this one, it did. After a few uses, you'll notice the exfoliating properties of this soap come to life. If you are someone with sensitive skin you may not like so much the rough texture of it, but for myself personally, for my evening showers, I enjoyed it just fine. It lathered very well, had an extremely mild scent, which in my books is a good thing, exfoliated pretty well, and did a nice job of leaving me hydrated after my shower. I do not like soaps that dry me out, and this one didn't do that at all. My one concern about it is that it does use Palm oil, and I certainly don't like to promote the use of that ingredient, because of its tremendously environmentally destructive properties. I think they can go back to the drawing board, and perhaps find a substitute for the Palm oil, and that would make it a much more marketable product. All in all as far as a soap is concerned, I certainly enjoyed my showers.

Tiege Hanley Men's Exfoliating Soap
PROS - Smells amazing! - CONS - It was drying my skin and realized it says not to use daily...so I was concerned about using it all... A little expensive for a bar of soap.

OMG - This is pretty much life changing (for me).
REVIEW UPDATE:It's not often I come back to re-review a product (and all of my observations after a couple of uses are below), but I absolutely had to come back to share my long-term experience. For me - it's not an exaggeration to say that this was life changing. I run a LOT during the week, and for as long as I can remember, I have had a chronic case of athlete's foot, in combination with overall dry/cracked/really-ugly feet. It's been horrible. Just a couple of months ago I was actually thinking - This is it! I just live with this and it's getting worse.I mentioned in my initial review below how I spent extra time on my feet, and the longer-term results have been AMAZING! With almost no other changes in my lifestyle (feet wise), after a month+, my feet are exponentially better. Still a little touch of the athlete's foot, but it's retreated to the lowest level since I was a teenager. The cracked and calloused areas around the heel and big toes are smooth again (for the first time?) and I've completely stopped using other tools to sand down my feet and try and prevent blisters. To be clear: I am not claiming this is a cure for anything, but if you suffer from cracked/dry/generally ugly feet - You should really check this out. It's done wonders for me, and I've come back to try and set up an auto-shipment. I'm a fan for life now!Original review:I was almost hesitant to try this because of the warnings on the box, such as ONLY use 2 times per week, keep off of face, and especially to keep off the manly bits. It sounded to me like I was going to leave the shower with red streaks on my skin.I was pleasantly surprised that it left me feeling quite refreshed and feeling light. No residue. The soap itself doesn't lather up much, but I guess it doesn't have to. It applies to most skin surfaces smoothly (elbows were a bit of a challenge), but I particularly liked spending extra time on my feet that get a lot of abuse. It left them feeling clean and scrubbed.I took special precautions to avoid the face and private areas as the instructions indicated, but I walked out of the shower feeling refreshed and overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Definitely "Body Scrub" Bar
I've never encountered anything quite like this before. It is kind of like sandpaper in a bar of soap. Initially the bar is smooth but as soon as it gets a little wet it will slide across the skin and then sort of stick to the skin if there isn't enough water. In order to use it, there needs to be at least a thin film of water between the surface of the bar and the skin. That keeps it moving smoothly across the skin and keeps the sandpaper-like feel from being too rough on the skin. It says to keep it off the sensitive parts of the body and for good reason, it would be way too rough. Once you figure out where to stand in the shower to get just the right amount of water flowing over your body it works well and feels good. It would be nice if it came with someone to rub the bar on your back but that's probably not going to happen.Unlike some body cleansers, despite the rather extreme grit the skin does not feel dry at all after using it and in fact feels nice and clean, comfortable and smooth. This bar seems to have the perfect balance of cleansing, exfoliation, and moisturizing or at least not drying the skin. The package suggests using it twice a week and given the extreme grit when the bar is rubbed on the skin that seems like great advice. This is a different spin on body scrubs and it works wonderfully. Since it will only be used a 2-3 times a week, the bar will last a while and the current $11.50 per bar is a reasonable price considering the bar will probably last 2-3 months using it bi-weekly.
