So, just how excited can you get about a light? I can't!Easy to install and it works. I don't really care about the light and trust me I don't do 'warmth'!Seems to be a delay on the motion detect.Setting up for the wanted sphere of motion detect may make the installation trickier. Just think - you will only know for sure when it's dark!!UPDATE 2nd December 2020 - Installed on an east facing wall and it stopped working about mid November. It doesn't trigger in high winds.

I bought one of these 3 years ago to light up the side passage of my house where I keep the bins; I was impressed at the time as the unit provides bright light on motion detection and was ideal for my needs.3 years later, and it is performing just as well now as it was then, so I've bought 2 more. They're positioned about 6m apart ar abiut 2.5m high and between the 3 of them they light the whole of the side of the house - which gets some sunshine over the day, but only a couple of hours of full sun.I use them in the motion detection only, which is pretty light on battery so can't really say hiw well they would survive if you want continuous light...but if, like me, you want to light a small area well enough to do the odd job or take out the bins, then I would whole-heartedly recommend these.

I believe I previously reviewed this item.We like these lights well made, we have only had them a few weeks and recently bought 4 more. I am hoping they last us a long time, this is the most we have paid for solar lights. One criticism would be they could do with being a brighter light.They look very nice cosmetically ticking all the boxes. Very easily accessible setting buttons.

Product feels a little light and flimsy and the fixings seem quite small but they have held it in place through some high winds. Actually works really well! The brightening on detection is an excellent feature and the light is bright enough in both modes.

Gives out a really good bright level of light. Easy to install. Sadly only worked for 2 weeks then started to flash on and off intermittently during daylight and wouldn't light up at night. Have had to return for a refund. Disappointed as it is quite an expensive product..

OK, i don't normally bother with writing reviews but on this case i find i need to! All positive so far, only just put it up and i'm really happy with it so far. I cannot tell you about the water proofing etc. we will fingers crossed tick the box there as well! Nice build nice light. i have a small garden and it lights up lovely and the motion sensors works really well too. Love that there is wires and is so easy to put up! I recommend it.

A bit pricey for only 1 light but it works a treat easy to install & it lights up quite a wide area

Wanted a solar security light over the back door. It doesn't get the sun all day but I've found it fine on the motion detector with bright light mode (blue setting). Easy to set up and install, but as i work in the construction industry I didn't like the cheap plugs and screws. I used 6mm fischer plugs with corresponding size stainless screws, 6 x 40mm as a minimum length. A nicely made product.
