Different than I thought
Not exactly what I was expecting but my dog loves it. Everyone should know that real animal products do have a smell. It’s pretty darn durable compared to other products but my Great Dane (aggressive chewer) has broken down the one end. It was not an instant dent. My girl has destroyed black kongs to get to filling because easier than licking out the contents. The horn grows in layers and breaks down based on those layers. She has gotten pieces off but they have not looked like shards or needles like you see on bones. I still keep an eye on her chewing. My last Water Buffalo horn was purchased elsewhere and it was quite different. It was flatter (not round), solid (not hollow) and solid but also shorter. I am thinking these 2 horns are different Buffalo species. My first purchase did not break down the same because it was solid. But slowly it became small enough that I worried my Great Dane could swallow it. Lasted 2 years. This larger horn is so much longer which is amazing. But I look at it now and compare to my Great Dane and have a feeling that curve lines up perfectly with her esophagus. So I just watch her and all has been good. She loves this thing and it’s big enough she can hold it with her paws.

Nice for moderate chewers.
Two of our dogs really enjoy these the other two didn't really care about them. Make sure you watch your dog to gauge how well these hold up to them. Our young dog had done no damage to it other than scruffs so I didn't really think anything about our very old mastiff picking it up until she bite a HUGE chunk off of it within minutes. I had to retrieve both pieces as I was worried about her swallowing a chunk and getting a blockage (yikes) Verdict: this is not the best item for high psi bite force chewers, but probably is fine for Labs, Shepherds, ect...

Dogs absolutely love these!
These are perfect for your dog that likes to chew! They are very long lasting! They chew and chew but they just keep on going strong. I’ll never to the raw hides ever again. These are so much safer and they really last forever. The horns are hard enough to out last the most aggressive chewers and yet they are pliable enough to be safe on the dogs teeth. We put peanut butter in them for treats. This really keeps your dog very occupied.I highly recommend these natural chews! So far they haven’t splintered. They do get some little pieces off but they are very small and fairly soft at that point. The price is the only downside but the longevity really makes up for the high price. My dogs used to eat a large rawhide bone in about 3 hours. So far these have lasted 3 months and going!Say no to the rawhide and yes to the buffalo horns!!

Good product
Our dogs loved these buffalo horns. However, after chewing on them for several days, they developed loose stools, almost diarrhea like. I had to take them away. We have an English Bulldog and two pitbulls.

Dog Treats
I have two Miniature Australian Shepherds and second to running, they love to chew. These all-natural, long-lasting "treats" give them the ability to satisfy that need while not "disturbing" our furniture. They love them.

Best treat for chewer!
My dog love to chew but I haven’t found anything that works for her. I got this 4 horn and my dog loves them. She wild chew for hours and it’s not broken into pieces like that other chews on the market. Very happy with this! I would buy it again!

Not for the aggressive chewer
I love that this is a unique single ingredient natural chew. I'm always looking for something different for my Cattle dog to try out. She's an aggressive chewer and over the years I've come to learn that the terms 'power' or 'aggressive' chewers are all a matter of perspective as what might work for your aggressive chewer would not survive 1 minute with mine. This is a prime example of this. I read many reviews stating how well this has stood up to people's aggressive and power chewers but within 10 minutes of my Cattle dog getting ahold of this, it started to prove to be far too dangerous for me to allow her to continue to chew it. For safety reasons, I cannot recommend to anyone with a power or aggressive chewer. Perhaps maybe an average chewer. I'm sure this is a great chew for dogs! My dog LOVED it until I had to take it away from her. I'll continue on my mission to find unique and natural chews for her.
