I'd buy it again but have assembly warning.
I just received this item this past week and really felt compelled to review it in detail so that others can better understand the pros and cons BEFORE BUYING IT.Bottom line: the wood quality exceeded expectations for the price, but had some troubles during assembly and will detail that below.PACKAGING: overall very nice. Arrived well protected without much extra waste. Had all parts and directions. Included a few extra parts that didn't get used (maybe to protect as packaging) and also had a few spare hardware. ALWAYS NICE. does require a hammer and a #2 Philips head screwdriver. I also used a good quality wood glue and an impact driver. Would have been prefect is parts were labeled "a" "b" etc with tiny stickers but it wasn't hard to figure them out.CONSTRUCTION: the wood drawer fronts, sides, and back as well as the cabinet top, sides and bottom. Were all made with SOLID WOOD PARTS huge plus for the price. The drawer bottoms and cabinet back are thin press wood but of a decent quality. The drawer slides are a plastic. I'm still undecided about the plastic but for the size and weight they seem to do the trick the wheels were a bit cheap and the hardware the wheels mount to is a but concerning as its just plastic too. Would not hold up to much weight. . Dont let anyone sit on this!! Definitely not fancy but also very easy to put together. Lastly the paint finish seems well coated and nice. The grey was a touch darker but really nice. The size was spot on as listed. This cabinet is quite small. It's exactly what I expected amd needed as a small sewing cart... but do read the dimensions.Assembly. I consider myself an advanced ikea assembler, with a decent amount of basic tool use but i dpnt build my own stuff or do carpentry. The directions were pretty clear to understand and I got the cabinet assumed with no problems at all. I did use glue to reinforce everything. My problems arise when trying to assble the drawers so I'm going to give details. While the drawers had some holes predrilled. Other parts needed to be held in place while screwing in screws. Parts of where the screws went were predrilled but other parts were not. I really struggled to hold the pieces in place and screw the screws properly. Here is where the impact driver helped but having a 2nd person would have been amazing. Several of the screws didn't go in perfectly straight and split the wood instead. I used glue everywhere to help but still damaged/split the wood of 3 drawer fronts (damage was inside drawers and hopefully won't effect durability.)MY FEEDBACK to the manufacturer. Please consider adding small predrilled holes on the drawer fronts and rears to help align screws and to reduce wood splitting.I will update again in a few months after using.

Nice, solid set of drawers.
I got the drawers in gray. The finish is nice. A little glossy but not overly so. Make sure you've got a good hammer and an electric screwdriver, because you'll be pounding in nails and twisting in screws for a while. It came packed well, no real damage to it. My one niggle with this is that pilot holes would have been nice in some places.

A lot to assemble
Cute, after I got it together. Practical. Functional.

Very poor quality control. Packed damaged parts on purpose.
I am on the fence with this purchase. It is made of wood & I like it more than a rolling plastic storage cart.Plus, it's pretty inexpensive.I am waiting on a replacement. This one came with a drawer "bottom" that had a corner cut off. If I use that part there will be a gaping hole in one of the drawers. This was not shipping damage mind you, it was defective and packed that way. It's a big corner piece, just cut off. Not hard to notice. One of the drawer "sides" arrived in two pieces, split right down the middle. Again, this was NOT shipping damage. It was packed that way.One of the wood dowel pegs used for assembly was, well, just half of a peg. Useless for the assembly. The defective structural parts were disappointing.Even worse though were the cosmetics. There was absolutely ZERO damage to the packaging on this cart. The blemishes were there when this was packed up. The top corners were both chipped. There were also numerous chips and scratches. Every single cosmetic blemish was at the front of the cart. Highly visible.Whoever packed up this particular cart obviously did not care about quality control.I went ahead and started the assembly process on this cart. I need it and I'm on a time crunch. I will replace the broken parts with the replacement cart when it arrives.Assembly was a piece of cake because of the tools that I have. Everything is straight foreward and simple. One could put this together with a regular Phillips screwdriver, but a power screwdriver made it easier.I have a pneumatic pin nailer gun, so I didn't have to use the large supply of tiny nails that were included. What took me less than five minutes to nail the main cabinet backing and four of the five drawers would have taken a lot longer using the included nails. Using the cheap little nails to put this together must not be very fun. Makes my thumbs hurt just looking at them.I have a various assortment of acrylic model paints and I was able to mix the exact gray paint and touch up all of the chips and scratches pretty well. Not a perfect job, but not really noticable unless you know they're there. If I were to buy another of these, I would choose black so it will be easier to touch up scratches. This wood is pretty soft, so plan on touching up scratches. The wheels are garbage and they don't lock. VERY flimsy and all plastic. I may just use this without wheels or fabricate some legs. It's just going to roll around on a smooth hard surface as it doesn't have wheel locks. I am using it on carpet, so I won't have to worry about that. It's just wobbly because of the flimsy plastic used. Finally, the drawers will come all of the way out, as there are no stops on them. I need to figure something out or someone's just going to pull out a whole drawer and make a mess. These drawers are small and light, so pulling one all the way out is going to happen. Probably a lot.Well, that's pretty much it.I would have been happy with this item, and given it a solid 3 if I had not been sold a defective one.If the wheels / casters were of better quality (and it did not have cosmetic damage) I'd give this a solid 4.This one gets a 2.

Mostly A Decent Little Cart
The quality is actually slightly better than I expected. There's one large drawback, though. For the drawers, there are no holes drilled to screw the sides onto the front. The directions say not to use a drill so I haven't but it's not working well. I've ordered some wood glue to affix the sides to the fronts. I managed to get two drawers done properly and they fit just fine and pull out and push in more smoothly than I expected. If they had drilled starter holes for the drawers this would have been 5 stars. It's actually a 3.5 but we can't do half stars so I rounded up.

Medium difficulty to put together, easy to damage
Some pieces of wood were very easy to accidently break. I went to screw in the side part and it cracked right through the front piece of one of the drawers. I assembled 4 drawers before this one and it didn't happen - I then assembled the last drawer perfectly fine. I now won't be able to use the drawer since the front of the drawer is not attached to anything on one side. There is also a plastic piece that doesn't fit into the wood side piece and therefore the final drawer won't go in...I need to solve both of these issues before I can actually use the drawers.
