Two weeks into my 30 days supply I had to discontinue using this. It made my very bloated. I had severe stomach pain, nausea, some vomiting, and constipation. When I could go, my movements were black in color.After stopping, I started to feel better by the next day when it came to the pain and nausea/vomitting. It took about a week for me to be full back to normal.

I found these to be helpful in reducing overall stomach problems. I can't be sure of how helpful they are, but I tried several other brands and these seemed to be more effective than some of the others. The list of helpful cultures is impressive, but I can't speak to the validity of their value since all supplements are something you take on faith and everyone's body reacts different. They are easy to take, don't have an unpleasant smell, and have no taste. I didn't experience any bloating or side effects after taking them (and I have with some other brands). The big question with these is about value. They are better, but I didn't find them to be as good as drinking a probiotic drink with live cultures. Overall, I was happy with the results of this and the convenience, but less pleased with the cost.

Because gut health is so important, I have implemented some things recently to support my body, and specifically the gastrointestinal (digestive) system. We have all likely heard of “gut bacteria” and how important it is to balance the microbiota within the gut through the use of prebiotics and probiotics. Both of those can be consumed in a variety of ways, such as through kefir or yogurt, but many of those have limited strains, hence the reason why a product such as this can be more beneficial.What I appreciate about this company is that they actually cite their information! This company isn’t simply making a bunch of statements without evidence-based support – they post the references to studies right on the front page! While science isn’t perfect, it provides so many tools for us to learn from and implement. I was researching this topic recently related to obesity and found some compelling information, but I did not know that there were some beneficial psychological effects with a couple of probiotic strains!Specifically, one of the studies (Michaël Messaoudi, et al.) found that after 30 days of taking 2 specific strains, the formulation was found to “reduce anxiety and improve mood” in those with “moderate stress”. This product contains both of those strains. I absolutely appreciate the research this company put into this product!My intention for this supplement was to provide something good for my gut health because the more research I do, the more I take care of my body in specific ways. I don’t consider myself an anxious person, but perhaps I do get a bit anxious when I am creating a new program, and this product has that covered.One thing I might add is that I did not experience any GI discomfort with this product as I often do with other probiotic supplements. The discomfort always goes away after a few days, but no discomfort occurred using this product for any length of time.That said, one may not think that a product like this makes a huge difference, but sometimes you can’t quantify benefits – you just know it’s doing something good to support the body.

I take probiotics for general gut health - I don't have any particular issues I'm hoping to treat. That being said, I didn't expect to notice anything immediate after starting this supplement. However, as embarrassing as it is, my mother suffers from bouts of diarrhea. Only a few days after taking this supplement she noticed an improvement. So it does work in that sense. As far as immunity and mood, neither of us have noticed a difference but again, we've not been on it for too long. So what I'll do is come back here with an update when I'm finished the bottle. Fingers crossed we continue to notice benefits.

I take pharmaceutical grade probiotics regularly. Thought I'd try this specifically for neurotransmitter balance. I noticed no difference in 1 month of regular use - 2 pills each night. Love that were now trying to target certain conditions with a probiotic complex but this isn't universally helpful to everyone as it didn't "work" for me.

Our family physician and pediatrician both recommend Culturelle, yet it is not the only effective probiotic by a long shot. You may know that probiotics are the good bacteria that can be enhanced through diet and more often through supplements. Prebiotics feed the healthy bacteria in our guts .I had never heard of this NeuroScience prebiotic before and products of this type are notoriously difficult to compare just by looking at ingredients lists. These cost $1.67 per dose of one capsule, in line with other brands. Although, it’s not easy to compare different brands of “good bacteria” if you have not yet found one your family is comfortable with, these are certainly worth a try.
