Concert Hall Sound
I'm an earphone addict always looking for my next new earphone high. Among many other mid priced earphones, I own the klipsch s4 and MEE151P which are really good headphones, but like any good addict I needed to step up to a great set of earphones with a mic/remote and dual drivers. The drivers are key components of good earphones and the more the better. High priced earphones like the shure se425 have dual drivers for $279, or the se525 with triple drivers at $469 but neither had the mic/remote. I needed a set with good cable wires because I use them throughout the day while working. The Sony's with 3 or 4 drivers were good options in the $200-$300 range, but reviewers were disappointed in the cable quality. I opted to give the M-Duo Driver a try due to the two dynamic drivers, great price, and my positive experience with the Mee151p.As a college music major Im accustomed to listening for all sounds. The sound through all frequencies is spectacular. The instruments are well balanced and clean. The bass has a tight natural boom that is powerful and not exaggerated. They have the best "quality bass" I have heard from earphones. The higher the volume the more they come alive. The look, wires and construction is very good. I cant recall hearing and liking the sound of cymbals and drums sounding this good together through earphones. Because they are dynamic drivers (air moves the speaker) like concert speakers, I believe that contributes to a more natural sound over the balanced armature driver types (which is now a topic of debate).I have not tried the $200+ earphones, and not certain I want to spend the extra $200-$400 only to find the sound isnt much better if at all (as many of those reviewers have stated). These earphones have cured my addiction for something better sounding. But I will be the first to buy a triple driver version whenever MEElectronics makes it. For now I'm perfectly content enjoying these great earphones---and I still cant believe are only $80.

Good for what the kids are listening to these days
The M-Duos have good, solid bass without being idiotic about it. The midrange is more recessed than I prefer, and this can make vocals and guitars sound kind of distant. The treble frequencies are reasonable--not ear-shredding but with enough energy to make electronica, EDM, Beyonce, etc, sound good. Compared to MEE's balanced armature IEMs like the A161p, the sound is less detailed and less forward, particulary in the mids, the bass is much heavier and the treble tones softer. Compared to MEE's M11+ (which I think was the company's flagship dynamic driver IEM five years ago or so), they are slightly colder and less organic sounding, with deeper bass and higher highs. Music styles these are suited to are the aforementioned electronic genres, general rock, and, uh, nu metal. They are not particularly good for acoustic styles or small ensembles that crank out a lot of midrangey tones.Build quality is decent. The cable is rubbery and somewhat soft. MEElec has never bested the M11 in that department. It's a lot better than the more expensive A161p, however. The metal earpieces are a bit heavy, and probably would not stay in place that well with vigorous activity. For the less than $50 I paid--reasonable value.

The best ear buds money can buy under $60 (the dual ear bud speaker design can be tweaked to take your music to another level)
These ear buds are without a doubt the best ear buds I've ever owned. Like any other ear buds, if you don't insert them far enough into your ear, then they would sound like crap (tiny sound) because you are allowing the sound to escape through the open air space between the ear buds and your inner ear. With a sensitivity level of 101 db even under powered devices can easily power these ear buds. For those of you who claim these lack bass and that the response is quiet compared to other headphones, ask yourselfs is there air space between your ear buds and your inner ear? Are you using an Eq app so that you can enhance the low end response of your ear buds? I would suggest that you download a good Eq app and tweak your low end so that your ear buds will place more emphasis on the bass. These ear buds can without a doubt output of bass at a very high level. I managed to get so much bass from my ear buds that they've caused my ear drums to vibrate, while maintaining clean sound overall thanks to the separate woofer/tweeter design. For those of you with rooted devices I'd recommend that you search for an app called ViPER4Android, which isn't available in the play store and consider downloading that as your Eq app. What makes this particular Eq so much more affective for Android devices is the fact that it has a its own sound driver that must be installed first, once you initially open the app. If you do so then the quickest way to increase your bass response would be to activate the bass boost towards the bottom of the app. For those of you that know of other good Eq apps that are available in the play store, please let everyone know in the comment section of this review.

It is okay.
Overall sound is okay. Treble seems to be lacking, it isn't as clear as other earbuds I have owned. Cord feels cheap and could easily be broken.

Take a Pass
I was sitting around listening to my various buds and decided to review a few. I bought these a while back when they were around 40 bucks.
