Bombyx ABY05 Abyss: Leviathan, Extension

Took a gamble, hoping to get an English version. Game arrived in good condition, everything was still in the original shrink wrap.

This expansion makes Abyss a great game. Base game is a fine and solid game, but Leviathan fixes the interaction with monsters and improves the fun in a meaningful way. Totally recommended and a must-have for Abyss.

As with the other reviews, this is the French version. I didn't realize it until I had opened and punched all the pieces. The entire product description on Amazon is in English, but they couldn't note that the game wasn't? Very disappointed.

Was surprised to find that the instruction book and cards were only printed in French. This expansion contains 10 cards with text. Why not provide the international consumer an English version of the cards at the very least? Comparing this to the Blood Rage expansions- that publisher offers 4 or 5 languages on all cards and instructions.

I finally go around to getting the Leviathon Expansion ready to play and got a big Surprise. The Rules and text on the Lords were in French. When I purchased it, I saw nothing to alert me to this. Sad

This is not an english version of the expansion. It is a french version. Pretty disappointed that no one thought that may be a crucial item to add into the product description. Stupid.

Like many others I fell victim to buying a game I cannot play as I do not speak french. Honestly it should have been in the description. I do take some responsibility though. I'll be more careful in the future. Beautiful game though

It is not at all clear in the product description that this item is in French language and not English. Had to return it.

Die Erweiterung verbessert das Spiel deutlich. Die Monsterkarten fühlen sich nicht mehr an wie Nieten, sondern bieten eine echte Alternative.

So excited to play this but had no idea it was all in French - probably needs to be made obvious at the top of the listing rather than hidden away further down. I also can't send it back as only realised once I'd opened it all up. :(

Very disappointed to find out this is not in English. Yes, it does say it is in French if you scroll way down and look through the detailed product description but it should have been clearly stated in the heading given it's fundamental importance. Seriously!
