So quiet!
Replaced my old garage door opener and I can NOT get over how quiet this garage door opener is. I can’t even hear the door being opened or closed if I’m in my home. Install is not for the faint of heart but instructions were clear. Also came with an app so I can control it very easily from my phone.

Wonderful, garage door opener
Wow, terrific garage door opener, easy to install and very quiet. The Aladdin app works really well and it was easy to connect to my Internet.

BAD 1ST IMPRESSION but still works well
The media could not be loaded. BAD 1ST IMPRESSION. I expected a NEW unit. Heart sank when I realized the box had been previously open (large cardboard staples already torn out, and box taped closed). One of the light bulb boxes was also torn open (that bulb didn't work) and the packaging was missing all wiring. Unit itself was also really dirty. (See videos) Didn't want to wait so I installed anyway. Missing parts arrived 3 or 4 days later. Easy install. Quiet operation. (Note: didn't opt for the quieter belt drive given the high number of replacement belt orders seen online - chain seems way more reliable). Seems to work well but am really watching that warranty closely.

Very pleased, Installation a snap
Great door opener. Very quiet. One tip: I was NOT able to use my android phone to connect the Aladdin feature even with the assistance of the technical support people. I was finally able to connect the openers to my home network WIFI using my apple I pad. After the doors are tied into your network you can access and monitor the status and control of the doors from anywhere you can access the internet. I would give Genie's customer support team two thumbs up. They were always very prompt in answering or returning my calls.
