Just What I Needed
I used Malcolm Super Cut compound with an orange sponge (could probably use the yellow that comes with the buffer) for about 10 minutes on #3 speed. Wiped off and followed up with Miguiar’s Mirror Glaze on a black sponge and wiped off. The results speak for themselves.

Not bad for the price
Started using this buffer and and passing my first hour of use, the buffer got so hot that it melted the velcro on the buffing pad attached to the backing plate and the pad was shot across my driveway like a bullet. Mind you, I wasn't on max speed and didn't have it constantly running but it still got very warm to the touch. I contacted customer service (which was absolutely outstanding, by the way) who quickly replaced the product, free of charge while I refunded the defective item. The customer service associate was so upset by the entire mishap that she would rather have me continue using their product, on their dime, than have to take a shot to their reputation. The new buffer works fine with no issues, but I DID buy a new backing plate with holes to help the buffer dissipate heat better. All in all this product performs just as well as big name brands but is 1/4 of the price and I couldn't be happier.I since have bought many Tacklife products, including a rotary tool, and they have been wonderful. Again, Tacklife customer service is second to none and I'm quite frankly surprised at how well they deal with their customers, and this is a company I'm very comfortable buying from.

Works as advertised; exceeded my expectations!
I used the TACKLIFE Polisher to apply compound, polish and wax to my Infiniti Q60 black Coupe after clay baring the paint. The polisher had a purposefully slow startup to prevent slinging compound, or other solution off of the pads (very helpful feature). Power seemed adequate for anything I did. I must include a comment about the pads. I used the 5 inch pads for this task, and cleaned the pads in between different compounds. The pads seem to be of very high quality, as they showed no deterioration following usage and thorough cleaning of the pads after the entire detailing of my Q60. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, and would highly recommend it to others. Note that the kit did include a spare set of motor brushes, and a handy carrying case for easy transport and storage.

Video: Motor sound of speed & review
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Okay, so my video shows what is included and the Motor sound varying in different speeds. When plugged in there will be a green LED indicating the machine has power. One huge plus of the tacklife bundle, IMO is that it comes with a 5" and 6" backer plate which is a fantastic. In the highest speed setting it does get loud but I guess hearing protecting is necessary then. In the lowest setting from 1-2 I've noticed a minor grinding gear noise but it may be due to the brushed motor pushing in the power, also to note is the extra brushes that are included, see pics.Comes with a bag that has inner pockets which can hold more than more pads that this comes with.Although its original manufacture box which it came in was quite damaged and unglued at its joints, the grinder itself seemed to worked fine. I will most likely be using the 5" pad 90% of the time even on my truck. I'm not a pro but have vast knowledge on detailing.

Gets so hot it melts pads
Well I tried to love it but it has a huge flaw. Well, two of them. Maybe three. It’s very loud. There’s a TON of vibration. And this things gets HOT. So hot it melts the pads. I just finished my second vehicle and I’ve been through all 3 pads and an additional 3 high quality meguiars pads. The attached picture is the center of the pad melting. The Glue holding the Velcro backing melted off the provided pads within minutes of use. Meguiars pads have good glue but the actual pad is melting around the center where the metal shaft connects to the backing plate. Apparently the motor gets so hot it transfers enough heat through the shaft and in to the back plate to cause these issues. Going to return and go with a name brand. I’ve spent just as much on pads as I have on the machine at this point. And at this rate I’d have to buy new pads every time I want to polish a car.

Great speed and power
I was pleasantly surprised with the torque and speed of the motor. The speed is adjustable which helps depending on what sort of buffing you're doing. It comes with 5 and 6 inch velcro backing plates, coarse foam pads, and fine foam pads. It also has a couple handle options and various extra tools, screws, and motor brushes. It is a heavy unit for the compact size, and feels substantial and well made.

Loved working with this polisher
This was the first time I was using a dual action polisher and so I was confused with the way it works. At setting, say 4, only the internal motor rotates at 4000 RPM, that gets converted into a much slower orbital action and rotation, which is in fact a good thing; but I thought it was a problem in the beginning. It worked tremendously well. I did my front bumper paint job of my SLK300 and after the final wet sanding of clear coat with 1500grit sandpaper, which I did manually, I used this Tacklife polisher to buff Meguairs Ultimate Compound, then I did buffing with Turtle Polishing Compound. Finally I did waxing and buffing by hand with Meguiars Cleaner Wax. I got excellent results.

Really works well.
This worked fantastic for water spot and minor scratch removal on black 2011 Land Rover lr4. Only thing that was missing was the wool pads to help with more severe water spots and scratches. The foam pads just are not enough. But the unit it self is very nice, and the slow start really helps we’ll worth the money. I re conditioned the entire vehicle in 1 day and it was really bad with water spots and scratches. Just be careful not to turn it on 6 with out keeping a little moist . Not to moist or it will spray every where just a little. You will get the hang of it fast.

This Polisher is worth the money!
I bought this item to polish and wax my 370 Sea Ray Sundance, As it turned out it arrived just in time as temperatures were dropping and the TackLife Polisher made it east. The polisher is light weight and eronomical to use. I highly recommend this polisher.
