This arrived in good condition, looks elegant, is easy to understand and use, and the remote control and motion shut off are nice features.I've used it in three rooms now and it's working great. The motion pause is very sensitive, it senses motion through doors and pauses if I walk by the door of a room where it is in use. Fans and AC don't effect it, though, which is good I was a little worried about that. It's a little weird using light as a sanitizer because other than a light being on and a vague scent after use that clears with a fan and open windows, there's really no way to "see" it working but I'm taking it on faith it is.I wouldn't try to travel with this, it's light weight and easy to carry but I'd worry about damaging the glass tube taking it on the road.Satisfied with purchase.

I received this a week ago and have used it on one room per day. I am not a scientist so I can't tell you what the kill count was for bacteria. But my nose is telling me that my house is cleaner, including one bathroom where the family cat uses the litter.The unit seems well made, and the simple function button is easy to set 15, 30 and 60 minute run time.After it has run, there's a strong scent of ozone in the air. Because I worked room by room, I blocked the bottom of the entrance door with a towel and never smelled any outside the room. As a precaution I shut the central air off so it would not circulate it.I did some old fashion wiping in the rooms as well. The most difficult room was the bathroom where the cat used a little box. She's an older cat and has had some misses of the box. I clean them up but the smell never seemed to go completely away. The lamp did the trick. MMMmmmm good smelling.I'm a big fan of this lamp. I wish I would have discovered it long ago.BTW, I bought this lamp after buying a "corn led" lamp also sold on amazon, which I am convinced is useless, a fake and fraud.But not this one. You get what you pay for.

First item shipped did not work well, was missing remote and seemed to be a return. I asked for a replacement. It came promptly. I do not think the ozone smell was strong as some have written. Smells like towels fresh out of the dryer to me. At first I was confused about how it worked, based on instructions, but now I think it is easy. Some confusion comes in when it automatically shuts down due to movement (like a bird flying past a window or shadows from trees in the wind) but I know that now.

This equipment is attractive and very well made. The construction is excellent. The cycle time of operation options and automatic shutoff are very convenient. The safety-delay turn on time is adequate to allow for vacation of the room before the lamp is activated. I expect to see many years of use with this UV germicidal lamp.We purchased it for disinfection of one particular room but we will be able to rotate it from room to room as needed. We also disinfect small individual items, envelopes, mobile phones, etc. as needed during the day.Also purchased, from a separate source, a couple of UV-C safety glasses for use with this light just in case we have to manually turn the light off before its preset operation time has expired.This lamp is not a toy and all safety, caution, and operation instructions should be read and understood before operating this disinfecting tool.I would recommend this germicidal lamp to anyone seeking to disinfect with UV-C.

I really like this UV lamp; I was lucky to get one before they were completely sold out online. It works well and efficiently. Make sure you are able to ventilate the room afterwards due to the ozone and odor it produces after use. Also, please make sure you are able to get out of the room and shut the door within 15 seconds of activating the lamp- the UV light is very strong and can damage your eyes and be a risk to your skin. Also make sure animals and children are not in the vicinity of usage while the lamp is on.

UV lights only work when direct expose to an object/area, so you need to place it in different highs to reach the areas you want it to work. Also, there is a burn smell after used it, according to people that work with UV light in the hospital, that is what to expect after use it. It's light, what make easy to move from room to room. So far my family like it and hope it will last long.

This item is very easy to use. I wish the remote would have been available when we purchased our unit, but using the push controls to set the timer has worked out well.
