Ruled as legals ought to be ruled, narrowly.Surface reacts well to ink . . . some legal pads are a bit waxy, repelling ink.

Is as advertised
The paper is easy to cleanly tear out of the pad, which is a plus. Color is a dull yellow and not a bright yellow.My only dislike is the paper is rough, kinda like recycled paper, instead of having a smooth finish.
