So, I have a rescue pittbull who likes to see how fast he can inhale his food and I'm not joking when I say, he was eating 1 1/2 cups in 30 seconds flat. He was getting upset stomach and barfing up his food recently. Tried it for the first time tonight and it took him 14 minutes to eat it. It kept him busy and he only tried to push with his paw once, and continued to slow eat. I may try a little less slow version of the same brand, but I LOVE it already. I bought two of these bowls for my chihuahuas who eat their kibble and wet food so fast. It usually takes them less than a minute to eat their foods. These helped so much, it took them so much longer to eat their food and works great. It took them about 5 minutes to eat their food. I highly recommend! I’m so glad I bought this product for them.

In January we rescued a chihuahua. He came from a hoarding situation. When we would feed him he gulpt everything so quickly and never chewed a piece of his food. I would think that was from his prior 3 years of life. This bowl made it more difficult for him to eat and slowed him up tremendously. I very much would recommend this bowl.

With a nine week old English black lab that absolutely inhales his food, we have been giving him his allotment of food each meal by splitting it in half and then giving him the second half 5 or 10 minutes after he finishes the first. Naturally that requires us to be a bit more involved in his feeding but a slow feeder allows you to put the entire meal in and let them have at it. I like the look and feel of this fun feeder. It has enough variation to slow things down and I like the rubber feet that helps hold it fast. The reason for four stars is not any design flaw but more of the fact that this probably isn't good for young puppies or small dogs whose tongue is not very long. The video shows my dog after about 60 seconds and you can start to see the frustration build. About 10 seconds after this video ended, the bowl was flipped over and all the food spilled. For now I'm going to keep it away and reintroduce it later and see if he's able to get everything out without getting frustrated. Because labs are so food driven, this may not work, but definitely worth a try in order to slow them down.

Mes chats sont très gloutons, et j'ai donc décidé d'acheter une gamelle qui leur permettrait de manger plus lentement. J'en ai eu d'autres par le passé, mais j'aime bcp celle ci. Elle est petite et les chats galèrent un peu à avoir les croquettes dedans. Alors ce n'est pas miraculeux, ils ne mettent pas 3h à manger, mais c'est un peu plus long, ce qui permet de manger un peu plus lentement et de ne pas vomir partout après le repas.

Cumple su función, mi perro comía todas sus croquetas en 1-2 min y ahora lo hace en más tiempo 7-10 min. Recomendable para cachorros para que aprendas a comer más despacio.
