They are bright even in murky water. If you get the two color option the white will drown out the color if you have them both on. Instructions for wiring are not quite accurate but easy to figure out(somethings lost in translation). One of the screws supplied broke at the head and I had to drill it out. I would recommend buying some good stainless hardware from a marine store when installing these. Overall, so far, I am happy with this purchase.
