Aftermarket battery - seems to work fine
Seems fine. Light use for about a month now. We'll see how long it lasts. I usually get 18-24 months out of these aftermarket batteries. Upgraded to higher amp hour rating and, as expected, the drill is much heavier now.

So far, so good
Buying off-brand tool batteries is sometimes a gamble, but I gave this a shot and it has performed well for me so far. It charged fine and has held a charge for several weeks of intermittent use on my cordless impact driver.

DOA.
Battery was dead on arrival. No charge and wouldn't take a charge. These types of batteries have very poor shelf life, if they drop below a certain voltage, they will refuse to charge. For such an old model, I half expected it not to work, and sure enough, that was the case. I've exchanged for another that arrives today, but I'm not optimistic.

Not Even Close to Hitachi Battery
I purchased this battery in April 2020 and now in June 2022 it no longer works. I was suspicious when I received the battery because it was lighter than the original. The original weighs 705gr and the Hanaix weighs 444gr. The battery did what I wanted it too and got my tools working again. I'm not a contractor so I don't use the tools very often. However, the original batteries lasted many years and the Hanaix doesn't. You get what you pay for and since Hitachi has sold out to another company and they don't sell the battery anymore, our choice is to purchase new tools or a cheap battery every year. If I do replace my tools I'll use Milwaukee since I know the support will always be there.

Failed in under a year
Battery completely failed in under a year with normal homeowner usage. Emailed seller to attempt a warranty exchange and have received no response. Don't waste your money.

Won’t take a charge
It came already charged I used it for a few hours but when I tried to charge it it doesn’t take a charge on my factory charger so I don’t think I should have to buy another charger for it. My old battery charges just fine but not the new one.
